"She does," Lenora heard her Serene voice agreeing that Adira have too many thoughts.
"I cast a spell, My Dear. I guess it clears your first doubt," Lenora heard Witch answer Adira in the same hypnotic voice. Ufff…. How she wished to sleep with her. But she's a woman!!!
Just then the witch disappeared.
'Where is she?' Adira wondered. Even Lenora wondered the same thing.
"Here," the witch said appearing in front of Adira. Lenora saw Witch walking to Adira's front.
"I am Elphaba Glory from Glory witch line," the witch introduced herself to the Vampires.
Her voice held a hypnotic touch that made Adira's legs jelly and her mind mushy. She wondered if its only her case or everyones.
Lenora was observing Elphaba's every move. How her eye twitches, how her lips move as she spoke, her slender legs moved ahead…. Why was everything about her so damn seductive.
And her family name…. Glory.
Glory witch line…. Didn't they say it was no longer there? How could a witch be alive from that family line?
Does it mean there was something hidden about that family?
Glory witches were someone who wouldn't be messed with. From books, she read that even the original Vampire and all kinds of mythical beasts and even demons were scared of her. Not just them even the great devil was scared of them.
If there was a witch from Glory witch line alive, and the word gets out everything would be in ruins. Looks like this werewolf kingdom has its own share of complexities. Lenora wondered what exactly was going on here.
People here look perfect and powerful. She saw the race declination on Vampires but not in Werewolves. It doesn't mean they weren't afraid of them. But if the war goes on for another year even Werewolves would be declined.
The pact between the two races was equally important to both races as the other needs it. One foul play can wipe out the race that played foul. And with Glory Witch on Werewolves' side… the victory for Vampires looks slimmer. This wasn't good. With Zaros' greedy thoughts… if he hurt Adira it would endanger the Vampire race. It's easy to kill a vampire than a werewolf. A werewolf can be killed only by plucking his heart not the other way around. A Vampire can be killed in many ways. And it would be further impossible for vampires to kill Werewolves if they were in their wolf form.
"Looks like there is another witch too here," Elphaba said as she eyed Ophelia.
Another witch? Lenora's eyes and ears perked at her words. But when she concentrated on her looks she noticed she was looking at Ophelia.
Ophelia?
A witch?!
If it's the case many things can be explained. It means…. Lenora's eyes widened in realization. Looks like there're things that she failed to notice and observe. Even Eudora was genuinely surprised at the recent revelation. This woman hid her secrets quite well.
"Vampire yet Witch. Such a rare specie," Elphaba said with a raised brow.
Lenora wondered how could this happen. If she was both, she wasn't normal. A vampire was a dead person. If a Witch turns into a Vampire she will lose her witchy abilities because. Witchy abilities would be with the people who were alive but not with the dead. If she retained her abilities then it means someone was helping her all the time. With the Queen's hate, how could a lowly maid be in the palace alive all along? It only proved that… even if Eudora and the whole of Velorine was hating her she managed to stay in the palace and had her fair share of power and claim. This means…. She really has good backing. Even the king doesn't have the power to protect a maid.
