Ch-40
Lenora wanted to know what this Great Witch's tower looks like. In their kingdom, there's no place for witches. And now… the vampires were going to have a meeting with the Witch for their wedding. She wondered what drama her elders will make up. Lenora was already surprised at how silent they were when they were asked to meet the Great Witch.
This looks interesting and juicy.
Everyone reached the gate and stood there. Just then a crow flew and landed on the ground. In seconds, the bird turned into a fine woman with a curvaceous body with black raven hair dressed in a black satin dress. Lenora's eyes widened for a second but recovered quickly.
Wow… that's what she said in her brain.
So… she's the witch. She thought.
She turned her head to look at the other vampires. Even they were surprised by the scene in front of them. Eudora was surprised too. All the vampires showed an astonished expression on their faces. But this was a witch's tower, which means these were common.
"Lady Serene," the women greeted.
"Lady Serene of the Kingdome Elisaveta and my peers along with the Lady Eudora of Kingdom Valorine along with her peers came to meet the Great Witch with the brides and grooms," Serene said.
The woman eyed everyone in the group before returning her gaze to Serene. She nodded her head and left.
Lenora looked at the tower as she waited. The tower was dark brownish-black in color. The walls were very high that one couldn't see or able to climb them.
There were two devil statues on either side of the walls scaring the people away. Those devils were holding two lamps in their hands with evil expressions on their faces.
And the gate was surprisingly very thick. She couldn't see any gatekeeper near it. She wondered who could be able to move those thick gates. As she looked she felt fascinated. Just then the gates were opened with no one pushing them. She admired it. Even if enemies come to them, they just can't even get inside it. This was just beautiful.
As she walked inside a tree was made out like a fountain. Was this magic? They say there's a tree which has water running inside it. And the rumors say that humans who drink that water will grow younger by at least ten years. Such a waste, the magical water of the tree was wasted just like that.
Lenora noticed that the whole place was filled with greenery all over. There were different types of plants. If this place looked so beautiful at the night then it could look more beautiful in the morning too.
As they entered the main hall, Lenora was further fascinated. The ceiling of the tower was open allowing anyone to see the sky.
She could see the stars shining like the purest pearls in the world as they graced the necklace while the moon looked like the most beautiful pendant adding more beauty to those pearl-like stars.
Lenora saw the whole ground floor was filled with plants and there was enough place to place a bed in the middle and sleep without any concern in between these beautiful plants. But instead of a bed, there was a couch that was turned into a swing. Aww… how Lenora wanted to swing in that swing. If it was a little big, one can sleep on the couch cum swin.
The crow woman…. Well, Lenora wanted to call the woman a crow woman after she turned from a crow into a woman.
They were led to the first floor. They were guided into one of the rooms on the first floor.
Lenora noticed how brightly the room was lighted. It was lighted brightly… brightly means… too brightly to the point they were blinded by the brightness. Werewolves can adjust their vision to the brightness but not the vampires.
It was a surprise that vampires weren't affected by this brightness and sunlight. She wondered if the witch did some kind of spell to protect them.
"Your daughter has too many thoughts," Lenora heard the witch saying to Serene. So it's about Adira. How magnetic her voice was? She can't help but think. Her voice was just exotic. A man can get hard hearing her voice itself.
Between she wondered if she could hear Adira's thoughts. Before she could think further the witch disappeared.
