Next day…
Lenora woke up when the sun went down. Celia helped her with the bath.
"What's wrong?" Lenora asked.
"What happened, My Lady?" Celia asked.
"I mean why this milk bath?" Lenora asked.
"Lady Serene said that we have to meet the great witch to fix the marriage. So… before meeting her as a norm you have to bathe like this," Celia said.
"So weird tradition," Lenora commented.
"Actually this is for the new bride only," Celia said.
"Oh," Lenora responded.
After the bath, Celia helped her dress up nicely. But she hated this. Eudora wanted Lenora to dress up like a werewolf woman. Since she would be a queen, Eudora forced her to learn the werewolf dressing and etiquette. She have to say that the werewolf etiquette was simple and easy to learn.
While Vampire etiquette was quite hard yet elegant. In vampire etiquette, even if they want to eat a banana they would use knife, fork, plate, napkin and the sitting style too.
Lenora have to sit in her chair tying a napkin around her neck and one on her lap. Then take her knife and fork in her hands. Cut the ends of the banana, then cut front of the banana. Then have to cut the white flesh of banana into pieces before stabbing that flesh and dumping into her mouth.
But werewolf, they just take the banana and peel it heat it without any pressure. Werewolves would finish eating the banana before Vampires even start cutting the banana's white flesh.
Just the way the vampire's eat made Lenora depressed.
One of the best thing she found with werewolves was… eating without any stress.
Now… she wanted to watch how her mother-in-law and future-sister-in-law would eat in the breakfast.
After freshening up, she walked to the dyning hall. All the vampires arrived already arrived. Lenora took her seat. After settling down, she greeted everyone.
Her eyes searched for Maximus but he wasn't there. In fact, Maximus was having a meeting with Werewolf ministers about the thing in the last night banquet's. Precisely about the Vampires behaviour along with that maid Ophelia.
They decided to have a meeting with Vampires. They wanted to add few more conditions. After all, they couldn't call of the pact. They will have to talk with the Witch first and then have to make a decision.
And… many times he liked to have dinner in his chambers. But some times, Adira would come to his chambers and drag him out. Also… she arranges breakfast with him in his chambers, she would join him and turns into a chatter box.
Now he wondered if it was too late to make more memories with her.
Lenora bowed her head and concentrated her eyes on her lap. Maybe he won't come. This was irresponsible of him as a king and quite controversial but no one dared to say a single thing because of the last nights stunt pulled by Ophelia. Few elders were already whispering if the pact was going to be canceled. If it's the case, there's no guarantee that they would certainly return alive. They were scared about their race and their lives.
Just then they saw Lenora and Serene entering the hall together. She could hear Serene teasing her.
