As Zaros attended the morning court, the first thing he had to deal with was the stunt pulled by her wife. Thankfully, Eudora and Lenora were by her side. They subdued every minister who made false claims. After that, they realized their kingdom was in deep trouble. Half the people were against the alliance, while others were against it.
After the court meeting, Lenora, Zaros, Eudora, and Maximus met inside his study room.
"Most of the ministers are under a spell," Eudora said, breaking the ice.
"The food that was being sent out to the people from the palace was being poisoned with few herbs. Celine checked it," Lenora said.
"There are moles. The court is under surveillance all the time." Maximus added.
"The royal assistant beside me is not mine. I am concerned about the royal documents now," Zaros said with a smile.
