Victoria reached the palace by the next night. She finally found the king's chambers.
"Maximus?" Victoria called startling him.
Maximus was speechless to see her here. He doesn't know what to do or how to react.
"Why are you here? First, come inside instead of hanging there like a bat," he said asking her to come inside.
Victoria entered the king's chambers and sat down on the couch.
"I heard your wife passed away. I wanted to check if it's true or lies. If it's true I wanted to accompany you as a friend," Victoria said as she removed the extra scarf around her neck feeling hot.
She realized Werewolfia was much hotter than Vampira. Maximus felt uncomfortable seeing her almost wanting to get rid of her clothes. But he shut his mouth.
"This kingdom has a hot climate," Victoria said adjusting her clothes.
That's when Maximus realized why she was behaving like that.
