After Celine slept, Sullivan woke and got dressed up. Walking outside the room, he spotted Elphaba still on the swing.
"When she will be freed?" Sullivan asked in a frustrated voice.
"This is a slow process, Sullivan. You need to have patience," Elphaba said.
"I am having patience for the past three years. I didn't even see her face or heard her voice. I need to be with her from now whatever the way it can be!" Sullivan yelled at her almost.
"What do you want me to do?" Elphaba asked as she lifted her head from the book which she was reading.
"I want to be with my wife one way or other. I want you to make arrangements for me to be with her," Sullivan said with finality in his voice.
"You got this idea very late. Nevertheless, even if you didn't ask, I would have sent you there," Elphaba said.
"What do you mean?" Sullivan asked feeling confused.
