Lenora felt her heart thumping hard with his proximity. She felt nervous to attend this court session. Many watching eyes made her stomach churn a few times already. She accepts that she attended the court sessions before but they were in Vampira. One way or other, they were the people she grew up with and they were the people she was familiar with whether they hated her or not.
Unknowingly she clutched his hand tightly, making him turn his head towards her. Bending his head, he moved his lips near her ear.
"Don't worry, I will take care," he said making her look at him.
She gave him a nervous smile.
He pulled her to him by pulling her towards him by her waist near him showing the onlookers they were good.
"I will never let you bear a grievance. At least from now on," he whispered slowly in her ears.
