Sarah cannot seem to dissent from Fallon's conjecture.
Her attitude towards all of this is unexpected, he thinks. For one, she wasn't trying to justify Regina's actions, which were made suspiciously queer by the fact that Cecil himself had brought her to Lady's birthday party. Like him, she's taking this whole thing with cynicism.
This reminds him of that one time from seven years ago – when her mother didn't appear after she and his uncle were called to the principal's office.
It was the perfect moment for them to meet her. Yet, as it turned out, she did not show up. That led them to conduct an investigation on what she was like instead. Because of that, they were not entirely oblivious. They have an idea or two on what she might be planning.
Still, of course, they were all caught off guard.
"I'll be honest with you…" Sarah muttered, gaze fixed on Regina.
"My mother… She's a fickle-hearted man-eater."
