Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

"Oh, sorry... I mean—" Sean stuttered. He scratched the back of his neck, confused, was about to leave but was immediately stopped.

"I want to let off some steam tonight," said Nicholas. Sean heaved a sigh of relief, and he elbowed Marvin's back because he knew that it was the only way to quiet the emotions that stirred inside him when Nicholas did such a thing.

"Sure . . . of course, Nick! After we loot the hotel where Omar stays we'll have some fun. Oh, my God! Omar has a very . . . beautiful daughter."

Nicholas smiled wryly. He immediately stood up then approached Sean and Marvin. Sean, who had been standing up, immediately knelt beside Marvin.

"This time... in a different way," he said confidently.

Tonight, Grace deliberately stayed up late. She could barely sleep. She missed her parents, especially... Korvin. Usually, when she was lonely like this, Korvin was the only one who would comfort her. Invite her to go for a walk or eat. But unfortunately, Grace was forbidden even to contact Korvin. She could only say that she missed her little brother in her heart. And hopefully, her brother knows.

When she almost lost consciousness and plunged into a dream world. Grace's bed wobbled. Someone was sitting beside her, sleeping, though she still thought it was just a figure that came into her dreams due to the feeling of loneliness that dominated her brain.

"Tonight I'm going to make love to another woman, Grace..." the figure breathe gently. Grace's bed felt calm, but Grace could faintly catch the man's soft hiss. Yes... Grace knew it was a dream, so she only heard it faintly. After all, it wasn't Gob's voice. Moreover, a man can't enter a room that has been locked from the inside.

"How do you feel? Do you like it? Or... disappointed?" the man asked her. Grace was still silent, enjoying the gentle breath of the man in her dream. The man she caught in her tone sounded highly frustrated.

"I want to make love to you, Grace." the man repeated himself. Now, Grace only heard a click before silence enveloped her dreamland again.

Shortly after all was quiet, Grace's bed swayed again. Then, something moist stuck to her lips. Grace's eyes were still closed, and she believes that the figures who appear in her dreams are princes in fairy tales, who come through dreams from lonely women. The kiss was so luscious, what started as a touch turned into a sip—and—a crush. Grace began to sigh as those lips went down to caress her neck and then bit her nipples, which were unobstructed by her bra.

Wait... Grace frowned. This wasn't a dream. What she felt was real. Something was churning in her stomach, and she felt it for real. However, when Grace hugged him, she was about to open her eyes. They kissed, and the pleasure she had just felt was gone. All Grace knew was a shadow-like figure that disappeared behind the walls of her room.

Was she dreaming? If so, why did the dream feel real? However, if she wasn't dreaming, could some humans have the ability to disappear behind the walls? Grace sat up, cradling herself in both hands as her skin hair stood on its end.

Her mind turned back to Alex, the young man who had died this morning. Was it Alex's spirit that came? Or is the Kyle family home haunted? No! Of course not! How could she come into such a ridiculous thought? She wasn't a seven-year-old girl who was afraid of a doll crying alone. That's superstition, and that's ridiculous!

"Don't be crazy, Grace," she muttered, patting her cheek. After she drank the mineral water on the nightstand beside the bed, she closed her eyes again.

Tonight Nicholas, Marvin, and Sean are already in a five-star hotel in London. There was an event at the hotel, to be precise, a party held by one of London's wealthy businessmen to welcome the arrival of Omar, a world-class businessman who has always been the target of entrepreneurs who want to ask for his investment.

"She's Alea... the daughter of Omar." he pointed at her to Sean with his chin.

The atmosphere seemed bustling. Several well-known business people from England gathered together. Not infrequently, Nicholas was forced to nod in response to greetings from other business people.

Yes, who does not know Nicholas Kyle? For the layman, the Kyle family is a businessman who is reckoned with in England. With a variety of businesses and wealth that even makes other entrepreneurs shudder just to compete.

"Typical seductress," Marvin said.

His eyes twinkled mischievously as Alea stared at him. Indeed, who does not know Alea? Among young entrepreneurs, the woman was famous for being such a beautiful spendthrift.

"She's approaching," whispered Sean.

While holding a crystal glass filled with wine. Alea, who was wearing a lascivious mini dress tonight, walks towards those three. Marvin and Sean immediately left, leaving Nicholas, who preferred to sit quietly while enjoying his wine in the dimly lit room. He hated the day because there was the sun. Like a light bulb at night. Because he was not really suited to the light.

"Master Kyle, correct?" asked Alea.

Nicholas was silent. He refused to nod and smiled in response to Alea's words. He's not the typical charmer.

Alea smiled, getting a cold response from Nicholas. What some media say about Nicholas Kyle's arrogance and coldness is true. Nicholas, not the type of man to be seduced easily by a woman that even no man could refuse.

"You're attractive, Nick . . . really! Your coldness made me fall in love, you know."

"Tsk!" Nicholas eventually flicked his tongue. He gulped down the wine in his hand again without making a sound.

"Want to dance with me?" invite Alea again. And, again, Alea's words did not get an answer.

"How about having dinner together, Nick?" Alea asked again. She was very curious about the handsome man in front of her. Of course she was, Nicholas is a very attractive man. His face is so handsome and also... enticing.

Alea bit her lower lip, and her tiny hands circled the crystal glass she had been holding. With a slight bow, she looked at Nicholas.

"How about a date, Nick? Come on . . . I'm a nice type of woman, really."

"I don't like small talk, Miss Omar," said Nicholas at last. Alea sucked in a lot of air as if the lungs in her body were running out of oxygen.

"Then what do you want?" asked Alea. She was curious about Nicholas, and she didn't want to waste time on it. Dating Nicholas even for a day would make him proud because he could flaunt it in front of another woman who adored one, Nicholas Kyle.

"Surrender yourself to my carnal desire." Nicholas firmly replied. With a cold grin and sharp eagle gaze.
