Jasmine's POV
The door that came from the door scared the hell out of Jasmine. The owner of the voice was her father, and her father was very protective of her, so she knew that her father would be angry and disappointed to hear that Jasmine wanted to go and see the guy who broke her daughter's heart, but Jasmine wanted to hear what happened from him.
" What did you say Jasmine?" her father asked her, glaring at her.
" Uh— I am going to meet Nate today for lunch this afternoon." Jasmine said shivering because her father was really scary when he was angry.
" After what he has done to you, you still want to go and meet him today?" my father asked, his face getting red from anger. Although Jasmine knew that her father meant well and was probably looking out for her but did he have to be this angry, it was just a meet-up.
" Dad I just want to hear his side of the story, maybe he has a better explanation for me." I say to my dad trying to calm him down.
" You are not going anywhere, I will lock you up myself that is what it takes for you to stay." my dad says already dragging my body towards the stairs.
" Dad please, I swear I will not go back to him. I just want to hear what he has to say to me." I say to him pleading him.
" No, I know that boy, he will try to manipulate you to go back to him." my day says, stopping in his tracks.
" Dad you know that I am stubborn and I inherited that from you." I say trying hard to convince him.
My father sighed in defeat and went back to sit down on the couch next to may mother. I sigh in relief and sit on the couch across them.
" Mom, dad I know that you are both worried about me, but I assure you that I won't be falling for his tricks again, and definitely would not be going back to him." I start the conversation.
" But what if he does something to you if you refuse him?" my mom asked me worried.
" Then you can appoint a guard that will guard me in a safe distance that will not make Nate be suspicious." I say to them.
" Okay then maybe that will make me calm for a while." says my dad. " But where are you going to meet him, it has to be a public place or if not you are not going anywhere." he says.
" Yeah we are meeting in a coffee shop, so I guess that is public enough, right?" I ask them.
" Yeah that will do, then we can calm down a bit. And the bodyguard will let us know all your movements." my dad says, shifting in his seat, facing mom. " Are you alright honey?" he ask my mom.
" Yeah I am alright, just a little worried about Jassy. What if something bad happens?"my mom says, looking uncertain.
" Don't worry nothing will happen to her, I will make sure of that." says dad, assuring mom.
" Oh dad it's almost lunch time, I should get going." I say, breaking the tension in the air.
" Oh yeah, right. So Robert will be going with you." says dad.
" Okay then, see you later." I say, standing up, hugging my mom and left, with Robby following me. ' I hope Nate does not do anything to me.' With that thought, I make my way to the gate and headed to meet Nate. Along the way I kept thinking of the possible scenarios in my mind.
