BOOM!!!
A large explosion is heard coming through the hallways of the prison.
The guards began to shout and rushes towards the area of the explosion.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"WARDEN, AN EXPLOSION JUST OCCURRED ON THE INFINITY FLOOR!!!"
"WHAT?! WHO'S RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?! FINE THEM, AND BRING THEM TO ME!!!"
Somewhere else in the area of the Infinity Floor.
A man was sitting inside his cell and patiently waiting for the right moment to escape. He grins and looks up, revealing a pair of red bloodshot eyes.
Yep, that's me, the person who's sitting inside of that cell, and today is the day where I regain my freedom.
"It's time..."
I said as he stood up and walked towards my cell before placing my hands on the forcefield. The wall immediately starts to collapse as I walk through it and look around the area before running away like the rest of the prisoners.
"Hm~ now, what was the meeting location again? Ah yes, on top of the tower, they must be waiting for me,"
I said before disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Somewhere else, a group of people stands on top of the prison's tower.
"Where the fuck even is he?! He should be arriving right now!"
"Be patient. He'll arrive in time because he already wanted to escape this hellhole for the last 100 Centillion years desperately, and we've made it this far, so there's no turning back,"
As they said, I appeared right behind them.
"Hello~"
"OH SHIT! FINALLY, YOU'RE HERE!"
The teenager yelled.
"Sorry for the long wait. I needed to wait for the right moment to escape,"
I said.
"Whatever, hurry up and open the warp gate, would yah?"
The teenager said.
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
I said as I stood there and looked at the cosmic skies.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE?!"
The boy yelled at him in anger.
"Oh well, it looks like Psycho is far ignorant than I imagine. It wasn't called the most powerful and impregnable prison across worlds for no reason. The Fallen Cosmos is an afterlife created for evil god-like beings, those who use their transcendent powers for evil purposes, the moment when they die under any natural or unnatural causes, it will send them to this prison, the prison will neutralize their powers, and they are to be sent to levels depending on how dangerous their powers are, once when they received their location, the prison guards will erase their memories with the only one in mind is that they are here is because they committed a crime that is unforgivable and must repent for their sins,"
I said.
"Okay, so what does this have to do with us not being able to break out?"
The boy named Psycho said.
"Be patient. I'm getting to that part. However, for us Infinite Level, the outcomes are different. Those who manage to reach Infinity Level would be allowed to keep their powers and memories, under the condition that they will supply the prison with their energies, which, its a form of execution, the prison itself would slowly drain the energies until it is empty, and then, it will begin to absorb our life-force until we become a corpse,"
I said.
"Are you done? Okay, so what does that has to do with you incapable of getting us out?"
The boy named Psycho said as he stared at me with his psychotic face.
"Well, I did mention the prison used our energies, right? Do you know where that energy came from or what kind of energy that was? It's the energy we use to draw our powers. This prison is empowered with our abilities, which means the power neutralizing effects within this place are a hundred times stronger than us, making us incapable of using further potentials,"
I said and sighed before sitting down on the floor to wait patiently for Virus to hack the system.
"WHAT?! SO, WE CAME HERE FOR NOTHING?! BUT WE COULD USE OUR POWERS WHILE STILL IN THE PRISON!!!"
Psycho yelled in anger.
"Yeah, only for supplying energies, so we can only use basic skills like energy projections, not the other way around,"
I said.
Psycho inhaled and breath out. He gave out a friendly smile before yelling out in a bloodlusted manner once more.
"ARE YOU SHITTING ME!?"
Psycho is enraged at knowing that all they came here is for nothing.
"Well, that's why I always have a planned in mind, there's a reason why I've sent Virus to the control room because the control room is the source of the neutralizing effects if Virus can disable it, we'll be free, let's have faith in him,"
I said.
"Ugh, I can't believe it. We have to wait again?"
Psycho walks to another place as he sits down and waits patiently once more.
"Calm down, Psycho, at least be grateful that you are one of us lucky few who can escape,"
A boy with white hair said.
"Yes, yes, I know, Aether, now shut up, I just want some silence,"
Psycho said, and he just sat there while Aether stared at him and sighed. Aether turns towards the man.
"Hey, when is Virus gonna finish hacking the system, Nakamura Hiro?"
Aether asked.
"Well, it's just gonna be in a matter of seconds before that glitch guy succeeds, and Aether, don't call me by that name, call me by my alias,"
I said.
"Yes, God Wannabe,"
Aether said.
The group suddenly felt immense energy drawing out from each other.
"Oh? So, Virus had succeeded, well then, shall we?"
I asked as the group walk towards me. I raised my left hand and formed a large portal right on the skies. It began to suck each of us up into it. Before that, I heard shouting from the guards coming underneath.
"HURRY UP! THE ESCAPED PRISONERS ARE ALL HERE!!!"
Just then, Virus also appeared.
"I guess this is goodbye then, farewell you all,"
I said. Virus just smiled at me.
"Heh, good luck with whatever life you'll be having,"
The glitching humanoid immediately jumps and flies through the portal.
"I, too, should take my leave then,"
I slowly levitate right up, and when the guards have arrived, I look down and smirk before giving them a middle finger.
"SEE YAH SUCKERS!!!"
I yelled before disappearing into the portal as it closed.
The guards all stood there in silence as they stared in disbelief.
"How can this be?"
A guard said.
"THEY GOT AWAY!!!"
They all yelled.
