Corrine looked at the cat purring on her legs. He looked so cute and he really captured her heart. She's not really fond of keeping pets because they're likely used by vampires to trace her but this time, she decided to keep him because among all animal, he's the only one that she couldn't read. You can take it as her interest getting on the way of her logic and awareness.
"What's gotten into you?" She asked, crouching on the floor to pet his head. "I'll be back as soon as I get all the papers I need. I'll have to check on my family, too."
Meow! 'I can be you family, too.' Damon willfully retorted, rubbing his face on her warm palm, trying his best to act cute to win her over.
"Don't worry, I'll bring your favorite steak when I get back."
