Chereads / MY BLACK ARSE IN A BEAST WORLD / Chapter 6 - Dear God!

Chapter 6 - Dear God!

It took her a while to relax, a very long while. When her tensed muscled eased, her body recalled the pain in her calf. It was amazing the amount of pain adrenaline made her body forget. She discovered how her ankle was trained, her throat hurt, her eyes hurt, her feet had been jabbed several times by tiny stones and parts of her skin had been lightly bruised. And the stinging pain in her neck.

She decided to ignore her pain and try to discover a way out of the woods.

She actually hadn't run far. The size of each tree was truly amazing. It would take her a real run across the diameter of any of the trees.

Such trees ran for miles, as far as her eyes could see.

She sighed. Finding a way out of the forest seemed like a useless pursuit. Her best option was to get to higher ground and- she looked up- the trees were clearly on a marathon for whom would touch the sky first.

Denise; I can only wish you luck.

She was in a place she just magically appeared in. She wasn't stupid enough to think she could just walk back. She recently met a wolf wanting to kill her- only God knew what other dangers were lurking in the shadows.

Her best option was to get information out of the wolf. Her brain quickly came around the shock for a solution. When things couldn't be explained, it was best to come up with a more stable physical situation. If she understands the place, then she may find out how she got there and sort out her next line of action.

"Oh so you decided to come back on your own?" Mr. wolf sneered then watched her.

She was purposefully staying off the ground by leaping from one root to the next.

He rubbed his nose, "Don't worry I don't segregate. When I pee on the ground, the roots also get some. Otherwise they may feel mistreated."

Denise felt her head go up in flames. Even ancient civilizations knew to put their pee in one place. Just because he was an animal did he think he had a right to fertilize the whole world?

This was another thing her brain had decided to dodge- an animal that could shape shift into a human. She would maybe deal with the shock later or pretend it was normal either way, she would still be considered open minded.

She didn't move around after that. She looked up at the naked man.

She raised her hand to shield her eyes, "For the love of nature, could you put some clothes or fur on or something?"

"Why should my body be covered up when it's your eyes that won't stop looking? You're bothered, do something about your eyes," he retired lightly.

Dense dropped her hands from her eyes. "Dear God!" She mumbled. She was at a loss for words. The natural order of things was to keep private junk out of public eyes. When was it that the public had to keep their nose out?

"Fuck it," she flicked her hand, "It's not like I haven't seen it a million times before."

Though it was still embarrassing, there was no part of males that she didn't know. In fact, for that part in particular, she could accurately draw and label all the external and internal parts.

This was all thanks to biology class. First when she was eleven then sixteen, she had had to draw that part to perfection and hand in for marking. It was just that when her and her friends got to sixteen, the drawing of the external diagram was more bold, pronounced and artistic.

People made sure to draw particularly fancy ones and title them 'dream journal'.

Although Denise didn't find it to be a waste of time to study the reproductive system extensively, it wasn't something that was examined. She would have preferred if it was a counseling session where she didn't have to make useful notes about it and take it seriously.

"Hey, uhm where am I? I mean where is this?" She asked boldly despite the unease at seeing him naked.

He scoffed, "You think that I'll just tell you."

"Why not?" she frowned.

"Who knows what you want to do with this information," he shrugged.

She was irritated but continued in a calm voice, "I just want to know where I am. It's what anyone would want to know if they were lost," he remained silent so she continued, "How about we exchange information?"

"You don't have a choice in the matter. You'll tell me what I want to know sooner."

"Who's to say I won't lie?" She asked.

He raised an eyebrow as if to ask her whether she dared.

She nodded, "You don't know where I am from. You've probably never heard of it. You have no choice, but to believe what I decide to tell you."

Mr. wolf stared at her. Abruptly, he threw his head back and cackled loudly. It was so loud that the whole forest could hear it. Denise subconsciously felt an urge to step back. She raised her eyes brows at it.

Just as suddenly as he started, he stopped.

Denise; Eh! 0_0

"Weird!" She started to laugh, "Pfffft! What the fuck was that?" She asked, raising a hand over her mouth.

When she looked up properly, Mr. Wolf was a few breaths away looking at her with a vicious expression. Denise's laugh ended drily. It turned into clearing her throat and awkwardly looking elsewhere except at the wolf.

His voice sounded at a dangerous frequency, "You're well aware of what I can do to you. One thing I hate the most is tricksters."

Denise opened her mouth despite wanting to shut it, "I didn't trick you. I gave you a possibility and you made your own choice. Now I'm offering a fair deal."

Suddenly she had a thought about the law of the jungle; the weak submit to the strong without question. It was nothing like human environment were a worm could challenge a dragon.

Denise looked at the wolf that seemed to be struggling with an unbearable emotion. She tactically understood that he was finding her attitude hard to digest.

It was true, Mr. Wolf couldn't believe that someone whom he could easily trample over with a small gesture dared to tell him to bend to their will. He was an alpha, the ultimate leader. He's the one who had the final say, always. Why was someone that didn't have the body strength of an omega daring to call the shots and tell him that they had options?

What Mr. wolf didn't know was that unlike those he had encountered, it was out of this world for a puny human to be able to perceive alarm pheromones. Moreover the fact that she was a human female meant she way less perceptive to any pheromone releases.

A/N; this author didn't do enough biology. I'm still confused about allomones, kairomones, sex and alarm pheromones. I'm not sure if just insects and wolves or every animal can sense alarm pheromones. Pheromones are only sensed between species it seems. But in humans, only males have the ability to unconsciously tell when a female releases sex pheromones. Honestly at this point in time, I'm so confused (even after some research) on how animals of different species can tell whether another animal is a weak or strong female or male. So I just summed it all up to alarm pheromones to differentiate from the sex pheromones. If you know a source or have some clear information, please expand this author's knowledge.

"You'll do as I say or else-"

"Or else you'll kill me," Denise felt that even for her, she was surprisingly calm, "I think we have already done that scene. You either come to terms with what I'm saying or we both get nothing."

She added, "Use your brain. You didn't kill me before because you were not sure if having me dead would ascertain your own survival. Killing me now just isn't on your agenda so stop bluffing. Before, I didn't say that I would give you information for my life. Right now, I'm saying that you can give me information and I'll give you information. It's a fair trade."

He scowled. Use his brain!

A strong urge to break her down and make her submit surfaced in his heart. In his eyes, she was just a powerless ant. Dare to oppose him? Pei! Want to be beautiful!

A/N; pei!-Sound made when spitting.

Want to be beautiful!- wanting to be/ have something greater than yourself and not in your capabilities.

Before Denise to continue acting smart, a large dark gray wolf was staring at her with killing intent. She hadn't blinked properly before the transformation was done.

He raised his front paw and a familiar vicious smile played on his lips.

Denise swallowed regretting the nonsense she was on. She had forgotten that brawn always beat brain because brawn could.

A/N; okay let's continue with our informative. I've noticed someone added this story to their library. This author is eternally grateful. Thank you. My other books are on a break right now. I've decided to do it one by one. No one is chasing me. I don't know if I should keep NTLS eastern or make it western. It's just that I have a bit of a problem coming up with those intelligent undercover words. So I'll revise it and I may make it western but with some eastern customs. As for one kiss less. Please just wait a while. After MBA, I'll do NTLS or this new book I'm working on called Reborn with her. It's a trigender world and its eastern.

where were we! Anha! Mates. The mates are the human hosts. They are either the original summoner or just a capable/ willing body. If the demons body is destroyed, they can retreat to human host and cultivate by absorbing soul energy. Soul/ life energy has to be willingly given. That's why unwilling people always die. They just buttered up the whole thing to say true love bullshit. Now you know why vampires and werewolves can't live without a mate and are badly 'hurt' when rejected- it literally could kill them. Because once they die, it's back to hell.

I believe that the whole full moon thing for werewolves is just that people could see them better under moonlight. As for vampires and the sun- who knows?

Then again, there are also other histories about their origins that are far from the spiritual view. They are more scientific- no they weren't made in a lab.
