Garry was sweating buckets. He never faced such a situation. He always stayed safe.
But now that Jordan held his neck, and was ready to punch, Garry started seeing the stairs to heaven.
'I am old anyway. No problem in dying.' Garry gave up. He accepted the circumstances and closed his eyes.
"Nice idea." Jordan said and started bringing his fist to Garry's face.
"Calm down." A voice rang.
Jordan stopped.
"You are one second late. I would have killed him just now." Jordan said, looking at the owner of the voice which of course was Liberi. He was back.
"That woman came before you and it made me more suspicious." Jordan spoke again and let go of Garry's neck. "You are lucky, old man."
Garry coughed heavily and moved far away from Jordan. He was scared to death. Even in old age, the desire to live more never fades.
After coming out of the basement, Liberi walked and stood in front of Wilson's seat.
