"You bastards. You both killed her. I will kill you all myself!" Liberi roared in anger but he still couldn't get up from the ground.
Ignoring Liberi, Laplace turned his head at Apollo. "We killed her? Is she dead?" Apollo had told him that Deities couldn't die.
"Not really. Let's just say she is…" Apollo thought for a moment. "Useless for a while. The hairs of Deities are crucial to make them useless."
Laplace slightly nodded and turned at Liberi. "She is not dead, Human. Don't wimp."
"She is alive?"
"Yes." Laplace said again and after hearing that, a boulder rolled off from Liberi's heart. She was alive.
But Apollo didn't like what Laplace did.
"Why did you tell him that?" He asked.
"Why not?" Laplace was nonchalant.
"You should have let him think she died and his fighting spirit would have been crushed."
