Chereads / The girl with the camera (On Hiatus) / Chapter 3 - I'm leaving!

Chapter 3 - I'm leaving!

She walked around the room, exploring what she had to work with.

It was old and the walls were beginning to crumble, pieces of broken wall were lying on the floor and shattered glass littered the ground.

She wondered where she ended up, as there was no basement on the floorplans she had seen, there was a boiler room, but that was in the heart of the hospital and not underneath the reception hall.

The streamer walked out of the room she had fallen in, slinking through a half open metal door, the rust a dark red and holes beginning to peek through from wear and tear.

It led into a dark and wide hallway leading to god knows where, just as the room she came from, the floor was covered in thick dust and trash, ripped paper pieces scattered everywhere and a few old hospital beds placed on the sides sporadically.

"I have no idea where I am..."

She whispered and began to stalk down the hallway, pieces of something crunching under her feet and glass shards clinking under her.

Her camera captured everything around her in the sinister green hue that accompanied the night vision function.

"I'm as good as blind without this camera, I see what you see and nothing more, it's pitch black down here, absoloutly no light whatsoevere..."

She informed her audience.

She tripped over a larger piece of debris and nearly fell onto the dirty floor.

The streamer hissed under her breath as she regained her palance and repositioned her camera to capture both the floor and the hall, hoping to avoid another near fall.

The camera jerked up and down as the person holding it flinched, lookng in mute horror at the "debris" she had stumbled on.

"Tell me that's a prob, just lie to me if you have to, but tell me that's a prop and not what I think it is."

Her voice was filled with horror and her camera jerked again as she turned around and looked along the floor, only to find the rest of the human skeleton whose skull she had tripped on.

Heras' chat was still going whild as she speed walked down the hall and away from the skeleton she had discovered.

"I want to get out of here right now!"

Panicked whispers left her throat as her heart pounded in her chest.

"I want this to be a dream, a nightmare, damn it!"

The hall was dead silent, only Heras' rushed whispers and heaving breaths were heard as she rushed down the hall, carefull not to trip over something.

There were doors lining the halls, but they were closed and the streamer didn't have to guts to open the heavy steel doors to look inside.

She swallowed dryly as one of them creaked open beside her, inviting her to come inside.

This time the girl shrieked, it was shrill and loud, but cut short as she clamped a hand on her mouth and sprung away from the now opened door and sprinted down the remaining hall, running away from yet another horror that she had found.

"Oh god, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonn die...."

She was repeating these words over and over again under her breath as she fled.

Her path was cut off not long after as the hallway reached an end, a crumbling cement wall nearly meeting her face as she stopped abrubty, her feet skidding along the overly dirty floor.

She gulped as she was forced to turn back around.

"I want to cry so badly right now, fuc+ me!"

She complained meekly as she stared down the hallway and through her camera, right at the dark shadow that was eminating from the only open door in the hallway.

"Mother a-s, fuck-ng a-s shit, this is not what I signed up for alright? I sighned for squatters, buildings that try to murder my a-s via collaps, murderes, clowns, yeah, for that too! BUT, I did nto sign up for getting dragged into another jessus a-s fuckin-g christ dimension!"

She whimpered, and her chat was in full agreement.

________

That was when she'd had enough and started cursing to her hearts content.

Not a single person watching blamed her whatsoever for her breakdown.

It was silent again, with only her voice and a creaking door breaking the silence of the eery hallway.

Hera bit her lip hard enough to draw blood and open up her split lip again, the taste of copper waking her up from her fear filled daze.

She couldn't get her emotions under control, but instead of remaining as a fear filled, quivering ball on a dirty and broken floor, she slapped herself, hard, and snapped out of her pity party.

"Alright, sorry for that, 'LoudLens' is back. Let me do my job and explore this haunted a-s bit-h of a hospital, or whatever the hell I stumbled into this time."

The streamer stood up, her camera back on her shoulder, and with a long, fortifying breath, she walked up to a door and tried the handle, it squealed loudly as she pressed it down and broke off, the rust having gotten the better of it.

The girl took another deep breath, wiped away the remains of tears, and cracked her neck with one hand as she turned to try another door.

"That was my neck, not to worry, I didn't break my foot or something."

She informed her viewers dryly, her fear used up and ebbing away as frustration and anger took a hold.

She tried another door, her camera taking in how the handle broke off yet again.

"How old are those damn handles?"

She complained and turned to stare down the hallway again.

"I need to find the fucking exit, it's gotta be around here somewhere."

Wolfking:

StangePeach: <... adrenaline?>

CoachCow: < At least she's not taking this lying down...>

Hera gave an annoyed growl as yet another door refused to budge.

Slowly but surely the streamer regained her cool, her breath evening out as she continued along the hall.

She took a long breath and stopped in front of the only open door.

Unsuprisingly, it was a patient room, although it resembled an asylums cell, the girl was left to wonder if the hospital may have been remodeled before.

"That's not what hospital rooms look like, not even ten years ago, I'm sas to say, but it seems like the romours about human experimentation might be true."
