Chapter 57 - The hearing 57

When I reached the courtroom I saw everything at a different time. The earlier times I have been here it was all about fun. But now the atmosphere was almost electric. I could feel the tension in everyone. I was feeling that too but for a different reason. Death never scared me but not being able to die in dignity after fulfilment of my vow does upset me. I saw Igor sitting there on the throne and he didn't look at me lustfully for once. Everyone was eying me warily. The last time I stood before him they all commended me for my bravery but tonight they want to punish me. How do things change?
