"Finally, you're back!" Adrian exclaimed.
"Briar," Xavier greeted, before greeting Adrian as well.
Briar waved at him, asking both Xavier and Adrian next, "Want me to leave?"
"You can stay," Adrian and Xavier said in unison.
Surprised they both allowed her to stay, she remained where she was. For once, she wouldn't have to have everything explained to her by Adrian or Madeline. She'd hear it straight from the source.
"So from what we've known before, he's a human spellcaster whose name is Lucas."
Adrian and Briar listened intently to what Xavier had to say. How Lucas had admitted to working for someone, but he hadn't said much.
"He admitted to being the one who turned all those werewolves into ferals."
"B-but how is that possible? There's no such spell that could possibly do that," Briar sputtered.
