She had a tough exterior, which was a vital part of being a powerful sorceress. No matter what she went through, she had to act tough and strong. Not to say she didn't love being in a position of power.

Well, she was certain both Emilio and Madeline refused to have anything to do with her now. They were busy, thinking to themselves and probably hating on her.

Emilio grunted in response, and Cornelia rolled her eyes at him. He hadn't bothered to dress up, so she picked out some clothes for him.
"I always told you you looked fabulous in white," she said to Emilio before she clasped her hands and said, "Right, enough with this tense atmosphere, we should get the other guests here."
