Sigewulf reached out and tired feeling odins fur which felt unnaturally realistic. the soft fur comforted Sigewulf a bit before realizing the girl was looking at him pet the air. Sigewulf made an excuse before leading her back to the ship the stand behind them kept walking sometimes he hit a tree and knocked it down scaring the two.
After a while, they reached the ship and saw ten old men flying above the ship.
'You know I know you're supposed to be the mc but having people in the immortal ascension realm starting trouble is overkill.' Odin said as he looked into the far distance as if looking at someone.

"Young one you should leave we claim this magical treasure." the youngest looking of the old men said before turning back to look at the ship in wonder.
"Yeah no noctem doesn't belong to anyone except Odin and I doubt any of you are the creator of the universe," Sigewulf said as he calmly took out the spear.
The men looked at Sigewulf in confusion before a sly looking old man widen his eyes and sneaky left of course both sides didn't notice except Odin.
'Seems mister fox knows me he scurried off into the wind.'
"Kid leave now we don't want to listen to whatever nonsense you're speaking about." the man said as he casually waved his hand and a gust of wind rushed at Sigewulf.
Sigewulf was launched meters away safely but the energy that entered him was causing damage to his body.
'You should give me control.'
'No I can handle It!' Sigewulf denied Odin as he shakily got up.
'I literally had to protect your heart from exploding I doubt you got it I know you want to prove yourself or whatnot but don't just recklessly kill yourself just watch how I do it and learn.' Odin tried to convince Sigewulf.
'But won't I just be relying on you all the time?'
'Kid your a golden core fighting an immortal ascension cultivator the old men are all ten major realms above you and have at least a few thousand years of experience.' Odin made a logical explanation
'i guess but I just don't want to rely on someone.'

The men felt the energy fluctuation and turned back to look at Sigewulf but saw a tall man covered in darkness only red eyes could be seen.
Odin lifted the spear and launched a thrust attack. spear intent formed and attacked the man that had swatted Sigewulf. In a near instant, the man's head was gone with half of his upper body.
Odin lowered the spear and flashed towards the men. he used his bare hands to rip the closet man in half before attacking the other men. In a few ten seconds the old men were dead all nine were killed in different manners some more merciful than others.
"Flame of humanity," Odin said as he activated his law of suffering black sparks appeared around the men and turned them into ashes.
The girl looked shocked and horrified by the scene. She finally realized following an unknown man into the woods wasn't a smart idea, especially one so brutal.
