"Dahlia...Dahlia!" I hear my dad say. I slowly open my eyes to see why he's getting my attention. I look at him with blurry vision. "What is is" I say groggy. "Look out your window!" my dad said excited. I rub my eyes and stretch as far as I can go. I look out my window and I can't believe my eyes. I see some ruins and other buildings. One looks like an old colleseum, some looked like old cathedrals. "Look! Vatican city!" my dad says. I see what looks like a giant church. I've always heard how stunning the construction of Rome was but this didn't hold a candle. Rome, easily looks like it's over 2,000 years old. If it wasn't for the hustle and bustle of all the people it could still pass for an ancient city. It looks modernized. With all the people on the street, you can tell it has a lot of visitors. Just when I'm lost in thought about this gorgeous city the intercom sounds off "Good Evening passengers, We have arrived to our destination city, we will be landing in 15 minutes. Thanks again for flying Paranormal Airways" Captain John Pierre states. 'Click' the intercom shuts off again. My throat is dry, it must be from the medication. I hit my call button and Angelica comes rushing in. "Yes my dear Luna, how can I help you" she says. "I need a drink of water" Dahlia askd. "Oh of course, let me grab that for you. Would you like some crackers or a cereal bar? Angelica asks. "Oh no thank you, just water is fine" Dahlia says. I watch as she goes and retrieves an ice cold bottle of water. "Here you are" The stewardess says with a smile. "Thanks again" I reply. Angelica goes back to her seat. I down my bottle of water in seconds. "Ah!" Dahlia says. The water was very refreshing. The fasten seat belt sign comes on. 'Beep'. We fasten our seat belts and await our descend. The intercom comes on again "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are preparing for desend, please hold on and thanks again for flying" The Captain says. I can feel the sudden decrease in elevation. My stomach flips, the G-force is going to make me hurl all over the place. I take small breaths. The medication still seems to be in effect, and my upside down stomach seems to level out. I look out my window and it looks like we are straight nose diving to the ground. I try to rid my mind of all negative thoughts. I continue to inhale and exhale to stay calm with my eyes closed. The plane levels out slightly. I hear gear noises, it must be the tires of the plane. Im starting to relax, when the plance bounces slightly. It bounces once more and you can hear the squeak of the breaks. The plane suddenly slows down a bit, the transition is smooth and doesn't thrash us around. I slowly open my eyes and I look out my window, the plane is gracefully rolling on pavement. "Thank the gods" escape my lips. I watch as the plane heads to a hanger? I can't wait to touch land again. Sorry to say, I like to walk or drive. Why does the airport look so deserted? "Dad where are we?" Dahlia asks. "A private airfield" my dad replied. As I reflect on what my dad says, we grow closer and you can see the hanger and a giant limousine waiting for us. "Excessive much?" Dahila says her thoughts out loud. "You're telling me" my dad replies. The plane comes to a full stop inside the hanger. The intercom comes on again. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we made a successful stop, please wait to exit the aircraft, we need to put the steps down" The Captain says. Angelica the stewardess, comes from her seat and greets us. "Let me set the steps down" she says walking to the door. Angelica, opens the door and she grabs a lever and the steps start to descend. "Sorry, as great as technology is, it still takes a few minutes, please have patience" Angelica gracefully says. I chuckle at her comment. "You may grab your bags, I will let you know when the steps are in place" Angelica says. "Thank you" My father says. 10 minutes go by and Angelica speaks again. "Okay, everything is all set. Thank you again for flying Paranormal Airways" She says with a smile. Angelica didn't need to tell me again, I was ready to leave this flying death trap of Claustrophobia. "Bring on the land!" Dahlia says. She runs off the plane, only to stop dead in her tracks to go on the defensive. The driver is a vampire. Dahlia's growls alert her guards and father. "Dahlia! Dahlia!" my father yells. "Take it easy, he works for the council and is under strict obligation not to let any harm come to us" my father says urgently. Dahlia's guards surround her. The flight crew is on edge watching everything unfold. Dahlia's growl shakes the ground. "Dahlia, here in Rome, many Supernaturals walk side by side and work together. For now, we must be tolerant" My dad says begging. "Luna Ravenwood, my name is Cesar, I will be your driver today. I'm so sorry, my presence brings you displeasure. When we arrive to our destination, I will make note of no more vampires to escort you. For now, please accept my sincerest apologies" Cesar says. Cesar apologizing makes Dahlia snap back into reality. "I am so sorry, that was rude of me, I just wasn't expecting...well you know" "A vampire" Cesar finishes her sentence. "Yes, a vampire" Dahlia says. "Please, don't apologize, you have every right to feel how you feel. I know our kind, have a terrible reputation" Cesar states. "I don't hate vampires, I don't know what it is" Dahlia said. "A normal reaction as wolves and Vampires have fought for thousands of years" Cesar says. "Please shall we be on our way?" Cesar says. Dahlia nods her head yes. This is much different then what she expected it to be already. I look to my father and he looks relieved I didn't paint the hanger with vampire pieces. We get into the limousine and I'm suprised to see the that even the drivers window is blacked out as well. I sit quietly for the ride. I feel like an idiot for lashing out like that. It seems my wolves were in complete control over me. We drove for what seemed like forever. I just wanted this trip over with already. I look out the window and I see a Roman castle like structure come into view. "We are almost to our destination; Plebeian manor" Cesar stated. I stare out the window as the manor comes closer and closer in viewing range, I'm starting to become on edge, well...here goes nothing.
