***Time-Lapse***
Dahlia's father has been sending her through etiquette classes, dance classes, history lessons and yoga to help her relax and prepare for the upcoming ball, with the council. Being only 18, being forced to parade around like this, you know Dahlia has been rebellious. Dahlia feels there's a hidden agenda behind this ball. No matter how much she doesn't want to attend, she's going to find out, what Lord Ulrich, is really up to. Dahlia's spirit wolves have been restless. There's now 3 days, before the grand ball with the Supernatural Council. Dahlia's father Ethan, has arranged to take Dahlia to go see, the secret he's been hiding: A custom made ball gown.
"We think you're ready Dahlia!" Mary says with excitement. "Do you really think so?" Dahlia asked eagerly. "You've worked really hard and I think you're as prepared as you can be" Ethel states. As much as Dahlia hated all the classes she had to attend, she couldn't let these ladies down. "Im so relieved, it's been a real struggle at times" Dahlia says. "We know dear, it's really unfair, the council is trying to exploit you like this" Ethel stated. "I'm willing to do whatever it takes, so that way our pack can finally live in peace freely" Dahlia said. Mary and Ethel were getting emotional. "We are so proud of you and we know your mother would be very proud too" Mary stated. "You really think so?" Dahlia asked. "We've known your mother since a babe, and it was a blessing to watch her grow up and raise you. You were her pride and joy" Ethel said with tears forming. "Hey, don't cry, you're going to make me cry" Dahlia said, embracing her teachers in a hug. "Your father should be here soon to fetch you" Mary stated. "He's been really strange lately, always running off, he's up to something" Dahlia said concerned. Mary and Ethel snickered at my comment. "What is it !?" Dahlia asked. "My dear child, we can't spoil, what your father has planned" Mary states. "Know, your father is doing the best he can" Ethel stated. I look at them suspiciously. They just give me giant smiles. "Now how did I get blessed to be in a room full of beautiful ladies" You hear my dad say from the entrance of the tea house, of course with his signature grin. "Hey dad!" Dahlia said. "Is it okay to steal our precious Luna away?" My dad asks. "Of course, we finished up our final lessons" Ethel states. "Come on Dahlia, we have a couple things to do today. Mary, Ethel thank you so much for teaching Dahlia everything she needs to know" my dad said with gratitude. "Ethan, you know we can never say no to help Dahlia. You on the other hand are a different story" Ethel says with a wink. My dad chuckles at her comment. "We're off then. See you ladies in a couple weeks. I'm not sure how long the trip there and back will take but Lockhart has been notified he's in charge while we're away. Take care of yourselves" My father said. "We will Ethan, take care of the precious daughter of yours" Mary said. My dad nods in agreement and we exit the tea house. "Where are we headed now, dad?" Dahlia asks curiously. "Well, of course to go look at your gown" my dad said with a huge grin. "Gown?!" Dahlia said visibly suprised. "Yes, I had one custom made for you" My dad said, visibly proud of himself. I follow my dad as he takes us along the pack shops, we stop in front of a gown store. It does have beautiful dresses already on display. "Who's shop is this?" Dahlia asked. "Well, it belonged to your mother, but it was managed under Valentina" My dad said. "Oh wow! I never knew mom bought any of the shops" Dahlia said shocked. "Well, technically, we own all the shops. The shops were once rented out via your parents. Ever since your mother and I took over, they have been able to run the shops rent free. They're just responsible for utilities and their materials" my dad said. "That's so cool, that you did that for them" Dahlia said. "Well, now that you're of age, literally it all belongs to you" My father said. I was taken by suprise. I know my mother mentioned I inherited money, but it seems like so much. "Oh wow!" is all Dahlia managed to say. We arrive at the dress shop and Valentina is waiting for us. "Luna! How great it is to see you" she said with extreme enthusiasm. "Good to see you" Dahila replied. "Valentina, we are here to collect the gown" my father said. "Oh of course! Please try it on first, I'm dying to see what it looks like on our beautiful Luna" Valentina beamed. "Okay sure, I'd love too" Dahlia replied. "Right this way!" Valentina says while motioning my father and I to follow her. Valentina, brings me to what seems to be an over the top dressing area. Candles, snacks, beverages couches. It even sounded like elevator.music was playing. "This room will be where you dress. Now, Ethan, please go wait for the unveiling" Valentina said. We complied and went our separate ways. I waited in the room what seemed like forever. I could hear Valentina's struggle as she brought the dress. "You Okay?" I ask. "Oh yes my dear, it's more awkward then anything" Valentina replied. Valentina opened my dressing door and hung a huge dress bag on it. "Holy hell, that looks like a big dress" Dahlia said. "It's lightweight, but it's ball gown style so the skirt is poofy. When you're done come out and I'll zip you up. Here you are" Valentina says as she hands me black pumps with a jeweled and red underneath. "Oh my god, are those a pair of Louboutin's?" Dahlia asked suprised. "Oh course they are. Only the best for our Luna and they also are a perfect match to you dress" Valentina replies. "My mom showed me a pair in one of her fashion magazines she was always reading, are those a pair of Suola So Kate?" Dahlia asked. "Good eye! Yes they are" Valentina stated. "Oh my god, a pair of those are over 2 grand!" Dahlia said anxiously. "Don't worry Dahlia, your father insisted" Valentina said. "I'm going to kill him!" Dahlia said. "It will be alright, remember getting through the councils ball, you have to look the part as well. Don't worry, you were born to wear such amazing things" Valentina said. "Okay, let me try my dress on" Dahlia said. I cannot believe my dad got me a pair of these pumps. There so expensive, to only wear once. I'm going to kill him. I throw my anger out and start to unzip my dress bag. I cannot believe what I see. My dad really out did himself. I was looking at a ball gown. It was made of red satin, covered in sequin black lace. The arms where long sleeved, made out the the same black lace. The back was simple and had a zipper all the way. This dress was so beautiful and it fit my personality as well. 'Knock, knock' "Luna, are you still dressed?" Valentina asked. "Uh, yes I am, what is it?" Dahlia replied. "I forgot to bring you the corset and dress skirt. I have them right here" Valentina replied. I opened the door and grabbed the items from her. "The corset is optional, but I highly suggest the skirt" Valentina said with a smile. "Okay, sounds great, I'm going to try it on now" Dahlia said. I look at the corset, how the hell am I supposed to put that on? I'll skip it I think to myself. I undress and put on the skirt. It's so fluffy, I stand in the dressing room playing around in it. "Everything Okay in there?" I hear Valentina ask. "Yes!" I reply back quickly, embarrassing myself. I carefully take the dress out and I put in on over my head. This dress feels great. "Uh Valentina I'm stuck!" Dahlia says. "Oh my, let me come help you" She says. Valentina comes rushing to my aid. "Here, you put the skirt on like this, and then you slip into the dress like that" She tells me while she demonstrates. "Oh thank you, I don't wear many dresses" Dahlia says. "Let me zip you up" Valentina says. She makes a few adjustments to what I'm wearing and she helps slide my shoes on. "Okay perfect, let's go show your father" Valentina says. I nod my head in agreement, visibly nervous because I don't even know what it looks like on me. We make our way out to the podium, my dad is actually speech less. I look into the mirrors that surround us and I can't believe how the dress looks on me. "Oh wow!" is all I manage to say and fight the urge to cry. "Your mother is a genius" my father says. "Mom?" Dahlia asks. "Your mother designed this dress just for you. She knew the council would insert themselves, so she had this prepared" my dad said with pride. "I love it!" Dahlia said. "It's just missing one thing" my dad said. "Ethan, what are you talking about this dress is perfection" Valentina said with frustration. My dad gets up, while holding a small black box. "It's missing this" my dad says. He takes out a ruby and black diamond Necklace, one that matches my Tiara perfectly. The necklace is made from black gold. The gems cascade down the necklace, into a single giant ruby pendant. "Oh my god dad!" Dahlia says. "Your mother wanted you to have this" my father said fighting tear back. "She would have been very pleased to see you like this" my dad said through a sniffle. "Now, you are dressed like a queen" my dad said. "Now go undress and I'll have Valentina send it to your room. We need to go pack" My father said. "Okay, dad" Dahlia said. I went back to the dressing room and very gently put the skirt and dress back in their bags. I placed the shoes back in their box. I left the dressing room and told Valentina, "Thank you for the dress and making my mother vision come alive" Dahlia stated. "I loved your mother and it was my pleasure. Now run along, you have to leave soon" Valentina replied. I made my way back to my father. We waved goodbye to Valentina and left the shop. We made our way out of the water mirror and back to the mansion. "I'll see you in an hour" my dad said. "Okay!" Dahlia said as she ran off to her room.
