"Ugh... My head is killing me" a boy of about 14 years of age, mumbled while getting up from the creaky wooden bed, clearly too small to accommodate his body. He rubbed his eyes, and massaged his temples with his fingers, trying to reduce the killing head ache assaulting him.
As he somewhat managed to reduce the pain, he started to look around the small room as if wondering where he was. He couldn't really remember what happened before he fell asleep, or unconscious, depending upon the scenario, but this 'room' felt quite familiar. The boy looked around, inspecting his new environment, which felt familiar and unfamiliar at the same time, as if he couldn't remember this place accurately.
The room, if you could call it that, was pitifully small and a bit worn out. The wooden walls and floor seemed to have some mould due to the humid air, and the already small room was even more congested due to the presence of another small bed besides his own. There was barely any walking space between beds and to the side, a small cupboard occupied any other remaining space within the room. To the side of his bed, a window, covered with curtains, allowed light to slightly illuminate the place.
The boy, still partially confused about his circumstances leaned over the bed and removed the curtains with his pale smooth hands...."Wait, what?? pale smooth hands!? didn't I have calloused, tanned hands from working at a construction site?....wait a minute. How the hell do I know that! ugh!!" The frustrated boy pulled the curtains apart with a jerk and slammed open the window. "What shit is going on here!?" he mumbled before looking out the window. For a moment, he was stunned by the beautiful scenery around him, forgetting his predicament. Lush green forest. Wild flowers dancing in the breeze. Butterflies flying around. The scene before him looked straight out of a fantasy.
Seeing the graceful huge bird circling in the air afar, he truly felt at ease in this atmosphere.
"Wait there is something wrong in this picture. What might it be? hmmm....wait!!? IS THAT A FREAKING PIDGEOT!!???
At that instant, he felt as if a bitchy waitress from a certain bar had broken a glass bottle at his head, his head's pain receptors screaming and causing sensory overload in his brain.
He let out a high pitched scream, and fell face first, unconscious onto the bed.

(1st person POV)
As I opened my eyes once again, the pain had subsided and I was awkwardly laying on the bed. My neck felt Sore due to laying in a bad posture for a long time. But soon, all of that vanished as I couldn't help but recall my memories, or rather, this body's memories.
Yes! that's right!! I transmigrated. You know the legend, right? The holy eminence 'truck kun' had granted this mortal the......pfft hahahahaha....Man! I got you good! You should've seen your face! hahahaha. You were thinking that 'here we go again, another otaku with his fantasies' right?? yeah I know!
No. there was no truck kun for me, unfortunately. Yes, you heard me. It was 'unfortunate' cause I would have payed to get kissed by truck kun at a high speed than die the way I did. Back then, I had just finished my last highschool exam and was on the way back home after spending the eve partying with my friends, that I....
You know what? just forget it. it's nothing to be proud of, and that chapter of my life is already closed, so let's just move on.
So now that I got this body's memories, I understood my situation a little better. I am in the world of Pokémon, suckers!! Yeah. Cry all you want you otakus, BECAUSE I AM HERE! (insert @ll might pose).
Okay enough with this shit. So I ended up in pokemon, that's all good and well, but the problem is, I was NOT an avid fan of pokemon in my previous life.
Sure, I liked the anime and watched many episodes, but besides that, I don't know shit about this world! I never played any Pokémon games and didn't even watch all the regions Ash went to. Thankfully, this body in which I transmigrated, has quite the knowledge about pokemon and this world, so that's a bit of a relief.
So from a pretty blue star, I had gotten to the Pokémon world far away...huh..
Anyways, according to this body's memories, this world was quite similar to the anime. The big boss in this world was the Pokémon Federation, which runs the world pretty smoothly. It had the established gyms, gym leaders, champions etc.. for all its regions i.e, Kanto, johto and some others.
Of course, there were other smaller criminal organisations like Team Rocket, but they couldn't compete against the might of the federation individually.
Any who, I seriously don't give a rats ass about them all! As long as you have power and a good consciousness, there won't be much trouble for you to survive. That's one important lesson I'd learned in my previous life. So now, ultimately, my goal was to become strong, powerful than anyone else who may look at me in the wrong way. And of course, while I'm at it, why not enjoy the life I had been granted and live to the fullest, without any regrets.
So, with that in mind, what better way to become powerful in this world than to become a powerful pokemon trainer! After all, I do love Pokémon.
