Raine and Nathan were both quiet as they went back to their table. Raine felt very weak as she gently caressed her tummy and inwardly mused, 'Why did you do that Aire?' She was genuinely scared of the impact Aire's reckless action caused during her time travel in this timeline.
She felt Nathan squeeze her hand which brought her attention to him. Nathan gave her a reassuring smile as he whispered, "Everything will be alright."
Raine nodded but she knew Nathan was also worried like her. Right now they couldn't do anything but wait for Aire to be born. Because of what happened, Raine and Nathan ended up having to leave the party sooner than expected.
As soon as they reached their home, Draki greeted them with a howl. Raine stroked the wolf's fur and murmured, "Why is Aire so stubborn Draki? She went behind our backs and altered an event here."
