Seeing as Rui's amnesiac wife was obviously getting rather jealous of her, Raine thought about how easy things would flow to Rui's advantage. It was a good thing that Cali had a very pleasing look, so it was alright that she enjoyed the amnesiac's adorable look whenever she was angry. It was a way better for her than looking at the mutants shifting into their ugly forms… Ahhh- that wouldn't be good to look at while she was pregnant.
Cali looked at her with sharply narrowed eyes as she said, "You'll have to go over my dead body first before I let you do that!"
"Sweetie, you're cute, but what can you do?" Raine scornfully laughed. "You better watch out, because I always get what I want. And if I want Rui…"
"Well, this time you'll fail," Cali chided before she immediately pulled Rui out of the room, holding onto his hand tightly as they disappeared.
