As soon as they were finished having breakfast, Mara didn't waste time and asked Raine that they proceed in looking into their past with Nathan's help. They brought Lark with them as well, seeing as Nathan had planned to do a simultaneous relaying of their visions by connecting the timeline and seeing the dots for the whole story involving them all.
With everything prepared, they went inside one of the private rooms in the mansion. "Can you also go back in time and change the past?" Mara curiously asked Nathan as the four of them started forming a circle.
"I can, but altering the past has a corresponding price to it. The safest thing to do is to just travel back in time and watch how things unfolded without changing anything," Nathan explained. "The keeper of the Voyager's Watch can do that anytime he wishes, but he can only go back to the present time during the appearance of the blue moon."
