Gathering her courage, Lyne finished off the last of her wine before casting her eyes in Boris's direction. She was already starting to feel more confident than she had ever felt for a while now, and she didn't want to throw away the opportunity to just go ahead and say it to Boris's face while she still had it in her to do so. She was just sure that she'll lose her nerve if she decided to put this off for another day, and a part of her really didn't want to disappoint Raine just after they shared that beautiful talk earlier.
'You can do this, Lyne,' she psyched herself up. 'There's no need to put this off for later…'
Setting down her empty glass, Lyne took in a deep breath before she walked right up to Boris. The general feel of the room seemed to shift the moment she did so, everyone around them seemingly giving them a decent berth as the two of them awkwardly stared at one another.
