Nathan frowned as he sat right next to Raine on their flight home. His thoughts still lingered on that one foreboding threat that was hanging over his head, and the fact that his mate was seriously considering it good enough to be blackmail material was making him more worried than usual.
'Seriously, what the hell did I do?!'
"You're awfully quiet," Raine pointed out with a smile as their plane took off.
"You did say earlier that I only have until the plane lands to remember what I did to you," he nervously chuckled. "So understandably, I'm concentrating to see if I'll actually remember what happened."
"Well, you better remember fast," she giggled. "The flight isn't that long if I remember correctly."
Sadly, she did remember correctly. The flight back to Country V didn't even last an entire day, which meant that he only had a few hours to figure things out.
