After all was said and done, Raine had Cali immediately brought to a hospital where she would be taken care of. She also let Nathan handle Balon while giving her father clean-up duty.
Currently, she was in the hospital lobby, sitting on a chair when she received a call from Mia.
"Boss, Janus is back," Mia reported.
Hearing the news, Raine could only let out a sigh of relief. She was honestly worried about Cali and what she had witnessed. The poor woman had seen Balon shifting into his wolf-man form, and it was a horrendous sight to see. It would be nice if she could delete that ugly part from Cali's memory completely.
