Another morning came, and Raine thanked her senses that she stopped herself from going too overboard last night that she could afford to wake up early. It would be a challenging day for them all, seeing as they were assuming that Balon would make a move to kidnap Cali by any means starting today. Reluctantly, Raine had to go back next door to personally stay with the potential victim.
Getting up, she quietly left Nathan in his deep slumber before making her way down to the kitchen. There, she saw her father preparing breakfast.
"Good morning, Dad!"
"Good morning. I'll cook some omelets for you," her dad informed her.
"Hmm… I don't think I'll be joining you guys for breakfast today," Raine chuckled. "Starting today, I have to stick to Cali like glue. I'll be going now, so please tell Nathan that I'm just next door if he looks for me."
