With Boris's trial all set and done, Nathan had one less obstacle left in the face of his inevitable abdication. Of course, everyone in the know was shocked at the revelation of Danos's crimes and inevitable fate, but time still moved forward.
Boris himself was currently making preparations to retake his position as the Alpha of his own pack, and he as king was still hard at work laying down the groundwork for his departure.
And yes, that also meant that the Elders back at the Convel Society were still hard at work trying to oust him before he was ready.
