Nathan sighed as he put down his phone. His attempts at sidelining Raine for her own safety had backfired miserably, putting him on her bad side for the time being while also being away from her at the same time.
It was one of the few times where he actually wanted to just drop everything and leave so that he could apologize, but he obviously couldn't. Doing so while they were this close to nailing Danos dead to rights would be patently stupid, not to mention that Raine would also just get even more mad at him for dropping important matters just to be selfish.
