Like Raine expected, Nathan was no longer beside her when she woke up the next morning. Well, it was already noon really, Which meant that she slept too much again.
"I can't believe I slept for that long," she murmured as she slowly raised her body to get out of bed. Sitting up, she sighed as she found herself caressing her tummy.
"I'm supposed to get revenge for Father Marcus against that Sasha. But I guess, becoming pregnant like this with you is a sign that I shouldn't dwell too much on revenge anymore, Aire," Raine mumbled aloud, followed up with a sigh. "This thing will be a nonstop cycle of negativity if I pursued it further."
