The day passed by Raine in the blink of an eye. Then again, that was what sleep did to people as she dozed the day away. By the time she was awake, the sun had already set.
"H-Huh…"
Raine bleary let out a groan as she reoriented herself in her bed. Looking outside, the darkness of the night sky was already in full swing, the moon hanging lazily above them mortals as it illuminated the world beneath it. The room itself was still the same as she left it, with her being alone with no Nathan in sight.
"He must be busy…"
Shrugging at her own thoughts, Raine resigned herself to some time alone as she got out of bed. Shambling her way to the restroom, she splashed some water on her face to wake herself up, the cool waters shocking her still-drowsy system into submission.
"Damn… my sleep schedule's really screwed up, isn't it…"
