Raine bit her lower lip as she fixed her eyes on Nathan. His eyes had turned white, beads of sweat forming on his forehead as he took it all in.
"Nathan?" she called out his name as she tried to move. However, her body remained still.
'Do you remember everything?' Raine thought inside her head as she felt something powerful restraining her body from moving. After one last attempt at moving, she finally gave up as she let Nathan take his time.
After some moments, the color in Nathan's eyes returned, going back to their original bluish-gray hue as he blinked in astonishment.
"You're back," Raine whispered with a smile.
Nathan didn't answer her, but the longing in his eyes was far too evident for it to not be a sign of his return. Raine opened her mouth to say more, but he had already sealed her lips with a ravishing kiss before she could even voice her words out.
