Raine waited patiently inside Nathan's room, sighing constantly as that was the only thing she could do while waiting for her mate to arrive. It also didn't help that a while ago, she could feel that he had mixed emotions brewing inside him, and it made it difficult for her to interpret just what exactly he was feeling. Despite it, however, she knew that a part of him was still mad at her.
Letting out another sigh, she stood up from her seat and walked right out to the balcony. Looking around, she could barely see anything in the vicinity except for the lights in each house illuminating the compound. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes, immersing herself in her surroundings. Taking a small whiff of the air, she smiled when she noticed Nathan's familiar scent.
"I wonder… Why won't you shut off your emotions…"
