Raine tightly hugged Nathan as he fell on top of her. She didn't mind how heavy he felt, just that he had completely fallen unconscious and thus able to be left behind.
She lovingly kissed him on his head, gently stroking his hair as she murmured, "This is only temporary, so please don't do things that would make them resort to erasing your memory." Raine hummed in hopeful suggestions, "It would be nice if you wouldn't forget about me, so please, Nathan… Please behave while I'm gone…"
After a few more minutes of making sure her mate was not going to wake up, Raine quickly moved. Doing a quick clean-up of her freshly-sexed body, she grabbed her old clothes and hastily put them on. She then pulled on the bedside drawer and picked up the letter she wrote earlier while Nathan was at the meeting.
"I really hope you understand…"
