"You are mine!", Rory shouted charging the Tyrant, "I will be the one to send you to Emroy!"
"Rory wait, that's not a normal Undead!", I warned her.
Swinging her Halberd down on him, the Tyrant grabbed the weapon by it's pole like it was nothing. Stopping her momentum mid-air, it pulled a Broly move and smashed her into the ground several time before flinging her at me. Catching Rory, I quickly tossed her away as it charged towards me like it knew I was the biggest threat.
"Alright you big, ugly, motherfucker let's dance!!", I mocked slamming my boot square into his face, "Settle the fuck down!"
Sliding backwards, it used it's hands to stop itself from going to far. Looking back up towards me, it saw my right fist slam into it's face. Sending him flying through the crowd of enemies, those who weren't quick enough to dodge would obliterated on impact. Skipping down several city blocks before coming to a stop, it only took a few moment for the Tyrant to get back up.
"It would appear Umbrella has done some massive improvements since the last encounter.", I chuckled pulling the Blades of Chaos off my back.
Noticing several drones flying around us, Saeko radioed back to base to confirm if it was Jeong or my father. Confirming that the drones were under Jeong and the AI's control, Saeko told me not to worry about them. Nodding my head, I took off in a dead sprint as the blades started to glow red.
---Three Days Prior---
Having some time to myself, I decided to look into upgrading the weapons I already had. Since Midna had confirmed that I was able to use points to update them, I wanted to see how close to the real thing I could get my equipment. Opening the settings window on the Blades of Chaos, I found that the weapons were Rank 1 out of 10 with 10 being the max.
"The quality is labeled Cheap Wannabe...", I mumbled thinking it was ridiculous she hadn't told me sooner, "Midna, is there anything I need to be concerned about when upgrading items?"
"It's a good thing you asked.", she laughed as she popped out of my shadow, "The weapons you currently have aren't a problem, the problem is if you buy weapons with mythological backstories. For example, you have the ability to buy the Legendary Sword Durandal from the shop. Rank 1 level is enough to ensure the very basic core functions of the sword work. At Rank 10 it takes on the full embodiment of the sword's powers, meaning there is almost nothing it can't cut. This is important to know because at that stage there is no resistance in cutting through things. If you aren't careful you could kill innocent people just by mistake."
"I understand, so basically the flavor text becomes more powerful with each rank up.", I replied.
"That about some it up, it should be noted that the upgrades aren't limited to just items you purchase. Anything that is considered yours is upgradable.", she advised, "Just to be clear, living things aren't subject to upgrades."
"So I can't upgrade you?", I teased.
"Listen bitch, I am already as fucking good as it gets!", she remarked with a proud smile.
"Wow...", I chuckled.
"Anyways, so you are thinking of upgrading the Blades of Chaos?", she inquired.
"Yes, I'd like the effects that Kratos had when then slammed into the ground.", I stated.
"That shouldn't be an issue.", she replied looking at the window, "Rank 7 will get you the effect you want, and each rank increase is only 1pts now so it's super cheap."
"If that is Rank 7, what does Rank 10 do?", I questioned.
"Well at Rank 10, that weapon...", she started to explain.
---Current Time---
Spinning around rapidly, the blades danced around me clearing the nice path for me at the enemies were torn apart by the storm the blades caused. Watching the scene from behind me, Rory was grinding on her Halberd saying that I was giving her quite the rush. Shooting a glance at her like she was crazy, Mikoto noticed that Saeko also seemed turned on by the scene.
'Are they both crazy? Maybe Saya was right about her being a Battle Junkie.', Mikoto thought as she steadied her rifle, "While he deals with that big bastard, let's focus on the grunts. The Big Boy is out of our league."
"On it!", the team said taking to the side streets.
Making my way towards the fully recovered Tyrant, the chains on it's body came off as it started to bulk up. Watching it pull a Bane power up, the whole scene was very disturbing. Watching it's body swell up like an inflatable muscle suit, it was seriously gross watching it's body spasm violently as it grew an additional two feet tall. Looking more like the Abomination that Hulk fought, it roared loudly at me and came rushing forwards.
"You want to play you ugly fuck, let's play!", I shouted equipping the Nemean Cestus, "Chew on this!!"
Slamming the right gauntlet square into his head, an enormous shockwave shattered every window in a ten block radius. Sending enemies and allies flying away, Alcina had to catch the women before they crashed into a building. Watching him slam into a skyscraper, we causally saw the building collapse down on top of him...all forty stories.
"My ears!!", Ilulu howled as she covered her ears as she started crying, "It hurts!!"
"I am sorry!", I said in a panic rushing over to her, "I didn't think it would do that."
Using magic to heal her injuries, I apologized to her for the sudden use of the Nemean Cestus. The thought that it would create such a powerful blast never occurred to me, but I should have expected that given how it worked in the game. Forgiving me for bursting her ear drums, Ilulu told me to warn her before I do something like that again. Promising to do just that, I noticed movement coming for the rubble pile.
Clawing it's way out of the rubble, the crippled Tyrant was quickly recovering from it's injuries. Observing it's unnatural makeup, I noticed that it's bones weren't actually made of calcium but Titanium. Not only that, it's muscles were embedded with carbon nanotubes for increased strength and endurance.
'Interesting, this Tyrant isn't as organic as the last one. They have made many improvements to them, including the use of nanobots to speed up recovery time.', I thought, 'I can understand why the military was hesitant to do much without the aid of more powerful weapons. If the other creations Umbrella let out have this ability, most settlements won't stand a chance.'
Once it's body was repaired, I watched start lifting the rubble of itself.
"Why aren't you attacking it!?", Alcina shouted.
"I am observing and learning, Umbrella has hundreds if not thousands of them. If I can ascertain what their specs are, I can come up with counter plans for them.", I remarked, "All this information can prove useful to other settlements, especially if the enemy has the same regeneration factor."
Watching it struggle to lift almost ninety tons of concrete, I estimated its limit to be around one hundred tons. Staring at me with an annoyed look, it started to run at me again so I decided to see about pressure point strikes. Closing the gap between us in an instant, nearly a thousand afterimages of my arms appeared around me as I struck it seeing what worked and what didn't. Not only that, I was able to use the shockwaves bouncing around it's body to get an internal layout of it as well. Of course the shockwaves bouncing around inside it completely obliterate it's internal organs as a side effect.
Coughing up a large amount of blood, the Tyrant collapsed to the ground as it's nervous system shutdown. Sensing that it's body was starting to repair itself, I pulled the Crucible out of storage and cut it's head off. Kicking it's head away, I was surprised that it was still trying to regenerate it's body. Glancing over to it's head, I noticed that it was sprouting tiny legs and was starting to making a beeline for the women. Unsurprisingly all of them were taken aback by that, and stumbled away from it.
'So that's how they are doing it...', I thought grabbing its head, 'The bodies and heads are two completely separate parts. If the Host is going to be destroyed the head can detach itself, and find a new a new body. This was like an old sci-fi book I read as a child in my past life...they take the bodies of the dead or the living to survive. All they have to do is remove the head off a body to take over it.'
"What the fuck!?", Alcina said as if this was any worse than what Miranda implanted in her.
"For once...I am officially creeped out.", Cammy stated looking at it with a horrified expression.
"I have it by the head, it's not going anywhere.", I told them.
"That doesn't matter!! Just get rid of it!!", Maya shouted.
Taking a closer look at it, I wanted to find out what specifically about it was creeping them out. Using my HUD to take an in-depth look, I discovered the reason for their reactions. The head was imbued with magical enchantments...something that shouldn't be possible.
'The only magical group on our world currently is staying in our camp, and none of our information has leaked. Where the hell did they get this information?', I thought incinerating the head.
With the head destroyed, the women relaxed as they effects of the magic wore off. Telling them to clean up the rest, I said I needed to make a call to someone. Nodding their heads, they did just that leaving Ilulu and I alone.
"Clark, you there?", I asked telepathically.
"Yeah, what's up Victor?", he responded.
"I got a situation over here. Umbrella somehow managed to imbue magic into the Resident Evil zombies. Something isn't adding up here.", I stated, "Any possibility my father somehow contacted another world?"
"Hmm...no your father hasn't travelled between worlds, but I do see that someone from outside your world came a day or so before they were released.", he told me, "Looks like the Nameless One and your father made an agreement with each other."
"So basically your saying he made a deal with the Devil.", I said.
"I resent that statement!", a man interrupt us.
"Lucifer...I have told you ten times today alone to stay out of my conversations!", Clark snapped.
"Oh boohoo, I am the one that stuck with your brats here!", Lucifer hissed.
"Not my damn fault you are visiting your old man when he has my kids visiting him.", Clark retorted, "Do I need to give you another One-Thousand Years of Death?"
"No!! My poor ass can't take your rough hands!!", Lucifer shouted.
"Umm...should I really be hearing this?", I inquired, "I...I really don't need to know about your family drama."
"Victor, just keep your eye out for interference from the Nameless One. Since your father has all the Gate Fragments now, he may try to help bring the Icon of Sin to your world.", Clark told me.
Severing the connection before the two of them started arguing again, I was beginning to wonder just what his family life was like. Deciding it wasn't my place to judge, given my family situation, I put that to the back of my mind now.
'Still though...that image of Superman giving One-Thousand Years of Death to Lucifer...that isn't a pretty thought...', I thought with a shiver.
"You okay?", Saeko asked.
"Yes, we have a bigger problem though. That Undead had magical enchantments on it.", I told them, "Not only that, as you can see destroying the head doesn't stop the body from regenerating."
"True, but it doesn't look like it is going to do anything without a head.", Alcina said kicking the body, "Stupid thing caught me off guard like a coward."
"So we have magically enhanced undead now...great.", Renka sighed, "Just where did your father get this information?"
"It's a safe assumption that we aren't the only visitors to your world.", Rory stated with with a wink, "Still though, I sincerely hope that the person attacking our side hasn't been here."
Opting not to inform her of that just yet, I told the women we needed to finish clearing the city. Knowing that there weren't any other Resident Evil undead in the city, it would only be an hour or so before we had the city secured.
---Two Hours Later, 3rd Person POV---
"Are we almost there...", Zero Two yawned, "It is boring looking at trees and rocks..."
"We are almost to Anchorage.", the Intern promised, "We should see it shortly. Are we sure that coming here was the best idea? Umbrella said this place was swarming with Undead and Demons last I heard."
"There is a US Military Base that is there we need to make contact with.", Alice told her, "I have an ally there that said the person we are looking for would be here today."
"Still though, do you think the videos are really true?", Jill questioned, "We saw the videos, but...would Wesker really let an asset that strong go? That doesn't sound like him at all."
"True, we will need too...", Alice said as the city came into view.
Noticing the smoke rising from the city and the sound of fighting, they all knew the fighting was still going on. As the Intern was about to pull into town, she slammed on the brakes as a giant Minotaur Demon came flying through a small apartment building and crashed into another. Getting ready to fight it themselves, they stopped when they saw the person they were looking for step out of the building with a demonic looking red sword in hand.
"That's him!!", Jill shouted with excitement, "That's the guy we are looking for!!"
Watching him jump onto the Minotaur, and rip its head off with one hand the three human women were stunned. As for Zero Two and Lucy, the two of them were the first to get out of the car and rush over to him. Both of them could instinctively tell the person in front of them was the same person they met in the lab, the same one they felt drawn too.
"Wait, what are you doing?!", the Intern asked, "It's still very dangerous!!"
Turning his head towards the two women running at him, they stopped a few feet from him wearing a smile on their faces. The three were shocked to see them smile as the entire journey here the only expression they really wore was one of annoyance.
---Victor POV---
'Holy crap!! They look just like their anime/manage counterparts!!', I thought, 'I do see some of Ilulu's traits in them, they could pass off as sisters almost!'
Looking at me expectantly, I removed my helmet to look at them better. As the helmet came off, I watched their expressions grow even brighter.
"You are definitely the child we saw back then.", Zero Two stated, "The child that witch tried to experiment on."
"Agreed, you have grown up to be a fine looking male. Much more attractive than the other men we have seen.", Lucy said licking her lips, "Would you-"
"Hands of!!", Ilulu hissed sliding between us, "He is my mate!! I won't share with you!!"
Staring them down, I could sense her power flaring up like these two were a threat to her place in my life. It was pretty clear they shared some DNA as Ilulu registered these two as threats to her unlike other women. Even Rory she didn't act this way with, and she was a Demigod.
"So you are the original...", Lucy stated looking at Ilulu, "You look somewhat similar to us, but...your chest..."
"Agreed, she is way more endowed than us.", Zero Two laughed grabbing Ilulu's breasts without hesitation, "They are very soft!!"
"Let go of me!", Ilulu snarled, "Those are for Victor!!"
"Oh calm down, I don't bite...hard.", Zero Two teased, "It's not every day we meet our technical mother."
"Mother?", Ilulu questioned dropping the killing intent, "Victor, did we make a family? Shizuka said that it took nine months to make babies, and my stomach would get bigger. Did I sleep through it?"
"Ilulu, there women were made by Umbrella like you. Umbrella tried to make more women like you, and these two are as close as they could get.", I told her with a soft smile, "The two of them share some of your DNA. Mother may be a bit of a stretch, it's more like they are your sisters."
"Sisters!!", Ilulu said as her eyes sparkled, "I always wanted sisters!! Victor, can I have my book so I can show them!!"
Pulling her book out of my storage, she turned to the page about siblings. Showing them the picture of what she had always dreamed about, she asked them if they could be like that. Looking at each other, Zero Two and Lucy seemed to be content with that and said they could be sisters with her. Hugging them both, the two of them tensed up as she embraced them.
"She's...stronger...too...", Lucy gasped.
"Yeah...", Zero Two wheezed.
"Hehe!!", Ilulu laughed completely ignoring their pain.
Letting them go after a few moments, Ilulu looked at them with a confused look. Asking them what came next, the two of them looked at each other at a loss as well. Turning to me, the three of them asked me what sisters usually did.
"Why are you asking me...I am a guy...", I sighed, "Why don't you ask Yuko, Rika, and Shizuka when we get back? They act like sisters."
