Chapter 55 - Chapter 55 - The Truth...Well Sort Of

It was becoming very apparent that they were going to analyze everything I did, and would likely pick up on the inconsistences in my actions. For the time being I would trust they wouldn't betray me to Umbrella, but they were a liability when it came to my lovers. At this point I couldn't be sure if they had the capacity to lie, or simply misdirect people. Either way I would have to teach them to lie so my secret didn't become public, but I needed to tell my lovers about some of my abilities. They didn't need to know I was reincarnated, or even about the system...they just needed to know about the Storage, Midna, and my ability to adapt and learn new things in seconds.

'Here's to hoping Red and White Queen evolve to become more human in that they will lie to others.', I thought, 'Otherwise I may end up with a horde of women at the door...not what I want.'

Getting everything stowed away on the ship, we proceeded to wait for the teams to return from their supply run. While we waited for them, my lovers got curious and started asking the two AI's about my past as I hadn't told them much about my childhood other than the boarding school. Starting with my birth, the two AI's explained that my mother tested me genetically to see if the prototype Tyrant Virus would work on me. She found that my body destroyed the virus almost as soon as it was introduced into my blood stream. Realizing that I wasn't a normal human, she ran hundreds of tests only to find that I wasn't human but the beginning of the next step of human evolution.

"Like how different?", Sayo asked with a curious grin, "Are we talking like superhuman?"

"For one thing, Victor's body doesn't age at the same rate as a normal human. Where a normal human has a hundred to one hundred and ten years to live, he could exceed several thousand easily.", Red Queen informed them.

"A few thousand years!?", they shrieked, "You...you mean he will outlive us!!"

"Yes, the data suggests that when he is in his twenties he will stop visibly aging for several hundred years. At that time his appearance will change every few hundred years ever so slightly.", Red Queen stated, "Not only that he is faster, stronger, smarter, and all around superior to a normal human. His senses are sharper than any animals, the footage we have suggest he has a sixth sense for danger."

"Ahem, can we change topics?", I questioned, "How about data on potential Umbrella threats, or even troop movements?"

I could see that they were getting depressed over the fact I wouldn't age like them. Fact was that I didn't have the option a High Human was basically immortal, add my system in and I was unkillable. It really hadn't occurred to me that this would be an issue at this point. Up till now my goal had been survive, take out Umbrella, and help rebuild the world. I guess I should have also been thinking about what would happen when they started to notice that I won't age. Any woman would feel inferior if age changed her appearance, but not her partner's.

"Victor, did you have any idea?", Saya asked me with a serious look, "I mean, did you know about the aging issue?"

Looking back at her, the full weight of everything hit home. Realizing that now was the time to tell them what they needed to know. Saying that I needed to talk to them in private, they took that as a yes and looked a bit downcast. It was a big deal to keep it secret, and admittedly I should have told them much sooner. Taking them up to the wheelhouse, I sat them down to speak about it.

"I did know I would outlive normal humans, I have known for a very long time that I wasn't normal.", I admitted, "Now is as good as any time to tell you the full story, and explain why I kept quite. Let's start from the very beginning, please let me finish before asking anything."

Starting with my early life, I stated that I had no recollection of any of the tests my mother ran on me. Saying that I vaguely remembered my mothers death, most of my memories were from her funeral forward. Telling them that my father took care of me for two years before dropping me off at the boarding school, I said that I told him to do so because he really wanted to continue his career.

"A few months into staying at the boarding school Umbrella products started appearing at the school in bulk. It was around that time that I realized how different I was", I told them, "It happened when I was around seven years old, I was eating some of the rations from Umbrella when I felt something was off in the food. My body literally rejected something in it, and my body expelled it through my sweat...it came out completely black. The doctors at the school said I had an allergic reaction to something, but I knew that wasn't true. I had eaten the food before so I knew it wasn't that. When the next delivery came I confronted the delivery driver who refused to answer anything. While he was busy unloading the truck, I stole his tablet and hacked their system."

"You mean to say at seven years old you knew enough about computers to hack into Umbrella?", Renka asked skeptically.

"I did, and that's when I found out about the T-virus and other projects they were working on. The reason humanity was infected initially was all because of the food and water they provided. They inoculated everyone over the course of a few years so all of humanity was a carrier for the T-virus, an inactive variant anyways.", I said, "Taking that knowledge to the head of the boarding school, he just laughed at me and said that I was just trying to get out of eating the rations."

"So you knew this was coming.", Yoko stated.

"I did, no one believed a word I said labeling me a liar.", I admitted.

"We can't blame you for that, if this hadn't happened we'd have thought you were crazy too.", Rei laughed.

"Anyways around that time was when I awoke another ability of mine that I think many of you have suspected for a while...I do have the ability to store items in a pocket dimension.", I informed them.

Pulling the Blades of Chaos out of my inventory, all their faces froze in shock. Even Red and White Queen were in disbelief, even though it was what their data suggested. Telling them that I could pull non-living items in from up to five meters away, they all were rather impressed when I showed them I could pull their clothing items out of my inventory from my seat.

"Since that day I started preparing for the inevitable apocalypse that Umbrella was going to cause. You don't infect the entire world with a zombie virus if you don't intend to use it.", I chuckled, "My preparations involved stealing weapons, armor, vehicles, food, ammunition, medical supplies, technology, and a lot of other items for the future. I figured that if humanity was going to have to rebuild, it was important to carry as much as I needed to survive for several decades. That was my plan for a long time, survive on my own in the mountains till this passed...but that changed when I met Saya, Rei, Saeko, Mikoto, Nina, Aimi, and Pucca. You knuckleheads changed my mind on surviving alone so I modified my plans to include saving you seven ladies."

"How sweet.", Saeko giggled with a happy smirk.

"When this shit started I called and texted all of so you had ample time to get to safety with your close friends and club members. We needed as many people as we could to increase our chances of survival. Since then the number of people that I want to protect has increase to everyone in this room. As hard as it is to say, aside from Honoka and Saito, if things went to shit and we all had to flee everyone outside this room would be on their own. All of you and the children are my top priority, you may dislike that but that is how it is.", I told them.

"That is very reassuring to hear.", Shizuka said with a smile, "Hearing you say that you would chose us over everyone else out there makes me feel very special."

"Agreed, while I can't say I need your protection...it is comforting to know I have someone watching my back.", Yoko stated with a smirk.

"Very comforting indeed.", Maya added.

"So to sum it up then, the items we found on Okinawa and this base were from your storage?", Kikyo asked with a smile.

"Yes, the supplies were a small fraction of what I have in storage.", I replied, "If push came to shove, I could our inner group for several months comfortably without any problems. In my pocket dimension time doesn't flow so items never go bad, any time we have gone out looting I have store many perishable items in my storage for future use including medicine, food, and other supplies."

"That is what I expect my husband to do, all planning ahead.", Yuriko nodded with a proud smile, "So why keep this a secret from us?"

"Well that leads me to another thing, I am sure all of you have noticed that my body adapts and overcomes any situation I put myself in. Unlike a normal human I can read, watch, or listen to something and instantly know how to it. For example, I learned many foreign languages just from a single conversation. It's hard to explain, but my brain just puts it together for me.", I said, "I can learn martials, crafting skills, and everything else just from one of those ways."

"So that's why I couldn't ever catch up to you!!", Saya pouted.

"That also explains why I beat you the first few duels, but never again.", Saeko stated.

"It also explains why your father didn't want you competing with others...you'd destroy any sense of pride they'd have for their craft.", Nina added, "I have to admit that if you hadn't stuck around the club after curb stomping all of us, I would have given up the spear. The club members stuck around because you taught us a lot."

"It also helped that he was giving it to us regularly.", Rei snickered.

"That's a completely different topic.", Mikoto sighed.

"Ahem, so anyways I didn't want to say anything to you for that reason. Each one of you is incredibly talented, hard working, and intelligent...I didn't want you to feel like I was some sort of unreachable goal for you. On top of that, I didn't want you to know in case Umbrella ever caught you and forced you to tell them what you knew about me. If they find out, they will stop at nothing to get their hands me. I would effectively become a breeder for them to make more individuals like me that are completely obedient to them.", I said, "I want to decide whom I have children with, and I want to be the one to raise them properly with their mother."

"As any good man should.", Kiriko giggled, "It is good you acknowledge you need to play a part in their upbringing."

"Yeah, raising kids isn't easy and takes a lot of time.", Rika stated.

"Not only that it is physically exhausting.", Yuko laughed.

"Don't we know it.", Kikyo and Namiyo agreed with a laugh, "It doesn't get any easier when they are older either."

"So at the end of the day you kept quiet to protect the group, and not make us think you were some sort of monster.", Sayo said, "While it is nice that you did..."

Standing up Sayo grabbed my by the collar.

"We are your lovers, and we a deep relationship with you. Don't hide things like that from us again!", Sayo seethed.

"Which why there is someone else you need to meet.", I said, "Midna, can you please come out now?"

Popping out of my shadow, Midna looked at me with confusion.

"You realize that even if you ask I can't just show myself, right?", Midna advised.

"You can pick up a whiteboard, and talk to them.", I replied audibly.

"Who is Midna?", Daiyu inquired with a scary look, "Is it another woman we need to worry about?"

Grabbing a whiteboard, Midna started to write something on it. Seeing the whiteboard and marker floating in the air, the women were stunned by what they were watching. Turning the board around, Midna had written down that she was my assistant as a High Human. Stating that she was a divine entity, she apologized to them for not being able to reveal herself. She said that only I could see her per our contract.

"Where did you meet?", Saya asked.

"Back when you were living in the daycare for a while.", Midna wrote.

"Have you been following us around?", Astrid inquired.

"I mostly follow Victor around, and provide advice as needed. Back in Incheon, Victor had me stay with the group defending the walls. While I am unable to be touched or seen by any of you, I am able to interact with the environment. When you were running back to the ship, I stopped several of you from being killed by machine gun fire. If one of you were to be hurt, Victor would have lost it and slaughtered ever single undead till there was nothing left.", Midna replied on the board, "You should know that everything he does is to ensure that you are happy, and well taken care of. He has gone out of his way on many occasions to give you the best life he can given the circumstances. In addition, he has told me that he wants a lot of children with each of you. Just give him some time to get into a position he feels he can provide and protect you and the children. When that time come he will let you know, and will tell you it's time."

Reading her words, the women smiled softly as they looked at the ground. Hearing that coming from her was what they needed to hear right now. Knowing that I was always thinking of their well being and safety made them feel very happy. Not only that, they understood better now why I was putting off having kids and respected that decision.

"Again I am sorry for not telling you sooner.", I apologized.

"It's fine.", Saya said pushing Sayo away to give me a hug, "I am just glad it wasn't something bed like you were starting to hate us or something."

"You aren't that lucky.", I chuckled giving her a kiss, "You are stuck with me for life, all of you are my women and I am never letting you go."

Laughing at that, she gave me a tighter hug.

"So does that mean that we should now start swapping DNA?", Red Queen inquired.

"Based on human logic, intercourse is usually what follows something like this.", White Queen informed us.

Stopping what we were doing, all of us looked at them like they had completely missed what Midna and I just said. Writing something down in a hurry, Midna jammed it in their faces.

"Learn to read the room!!", Midna shouted on the board.

"So Victor...", Oriha said jumping on my lap and pushing her chest out, "Since the suits were something you stole...did they happen to have any weapon attachments for them?"

"They did.", I answered knowing where this was going.

"You think...maybe you could given me a rocket launcher or a plasma cannon?", she asked shifting herself on my crotch.

"It's not a plasma gun, it's a charged particle gun.", I sighed, "As for your request, you aren't getting one till I know you won't blow a damn hole in my ship!! Knowing you, you will want to start using it without listening to explanations."

"He's got you there.", Sayo agreed, "You'd sink the ship pretty quick with one of them."

"Oh shut up!! I am not that klutzy!!", Oriha shouted.

"Yes you are.", Miu told her, "I watched you juggling hand grenades the other day!"

"I didn't pull the pin though.", Oriha said.

"But one of the pins did come out.", Miu refuted.

"That wasn't my fault, that was shoddy workmanship.", Oriha pouted.

"It wouldn't have come out if you weren't juggling them.", Renka sighed.

"Don't tell me how to live my life.", Oriha cried.

"Master, may we recommend the removal of this female from your harem? She is a liability to the health and safety of the superior candidates for mothers.", Red Queen advised without a hint of anger.

"You fucking bucket of bolts, I am going to jam C4 down your throat and blow you to bits for that!!", Oriha seethed, "I won't be kicked out by some artificial AI suggesting that I am inferior to the others!!"

"Genetics wise the one known as Sayo is superior in every way.", White Queen told her, "She has wide hips, large breasts, and is in prime shape for producing children."

"That's it, I am killing both of you!!", Oriha cried, "Just because I don't have wide hips and breasts her size doesn't mean anything!!"

"Enough!", I interjected before Oriha carried out her threat, "Oriha isn't being kicked out on your recommendation. I love her, and while she may be a bit screwy...it is something that I enjoy about her. Just because the worlds gone to shit doesn't mean I am going to choose partners based on who you say is the optimal partner. We are going to have to work on your human understanding more...if you aren't careful someone will kill you."

"Yeah, it will be me shoving dynamite up your asshole!!", Oriha said holding me tightly.

'What the hell have I gotten myself into...', I thought, 'Maybe taking the robots in wasn't a good idea.'
