Lia woke up after another set of nap as she was crying and weeping for long. She was literally devastated at the thought of believing Noah and escaping to the human world. The moon stone was the only thing that kept the wolves safe in their realm. Everyone used to talk about it's importance all along so it was fixed in her brain just like that.
"I am the Luna and I was supposed to keep my pack safe and yet I failed them. I left my pack with Oliver and fled for a better life. I am so selfish." Lia cried once again as the memories flushed in her.
She dragged herself out of the room to the couch as she wanted a change but things got worse with that. The couch still smelled like Noah, he slept there for the night and as a wolf, she can feel his scent longer than human. Lia sat at the other end of the room, far away from his place in the corner where no light could reach.
"What am I to you?" She asked imagining Noah was sitting opposite to her.
A perfect time to take out all the thoughts in her, he wouldn't know anything yet she would feel lighter than before. Was he really putting on an act like an immature stupid omega? Was he someone else, a man she didn't know? A man no one had ever seen or imagined him to be.
Lia felt her stomach growling at the moment helping her to remember that she hasn't eaten anything since morning and the time seems to be able six in the evening. Noah hasn't returned yet and there was no way she could contact him. Things were a little scary for her as the place was strange to her, it was dark and cold.
Lia walked to the balcony as she remembered that place was a little lighted the last night. There was no much hope for her as it was locked and nothing she did seemed to be working there. The same feeling that she had when locked in the cell, back in her place crawled into her yet again.
"Why am I locked here? I didn't do anything wrong." Lia shouted as she banged on the glass door.
It was slowly suffocating her, the feeling of everyone pointing at her and blaming her for something that she hasn't done. It has become a routine for her by then but why in human world out of all the places? Her thoughts even travelled to the point that she thought Noah was secretly working for Oliver or else why would he steal the moon stone and hide from her?
"I need to go back, I need to forget what all happened but before that I need to get the moon stone back." Lia fixed in her shattered heart.
Lia quickly picked herself up and walked to the washroom to get ready for leaving as soon as they come. She was expecting to hear an apology from him and make him realize what he had done but the boy seemed to be too careless before he left.
.
.
.
"That was so funny." Noah laughed out as he pulled out the dress which he got for him and inspecting it more.
"It was just a mistake." Ren pouted as she smacked the boy with her sling bag, playfully.
Ren and Noah had a lot of fun that they walked into the apartment in all laughs and plays not knowing what Lia has been going through. Noah was thinking about Lia for a long time but the outside world was too distracting that at one point, he forgot that she was alive.
"Why is it so dark?" Ren muttered even before stepping in.
"Hmm? She must be in her room." He brushed off the thoughts before pushing past Ren and aiming the couch.
"Did you just push me?" Ren pouted as she ran to him.
Soon the room filled with laughter and loud talks, the duo being so immersed in their own world. Lia was watching them from the other side of the room and they didn't seem to notice. She thought he would look for her once he comes back or at least would think about her cubs.
"Where is she? I will wake her up and give the dinner." It was Ren who first spoke about Lia and that made Lia's blood boil.
"Oh, yea. You need to check on her while I get freshen up." Noah hopped to Ren's room with his packages.
"You don't have to wake me for giving that. I am leaving anyways, just waited for you to open this cell." Lia chuckled dryly as she came out to Ren.
"Oh? Where are you going?" Ren asked confused because as much as she heard from Noah, Lia had no idea about the world.
"Does it bother you?"
"Not really but it will definitely bother him so please stay back." Ren gave her a small smile as she placed, few packages in front of her.
"Take care of him."
Ren grinned as she happily swirled around with the packages knowing it was just her and Noah left. Lia went on her own and her words looked adamant so the chances for her to come back is zero. Ren placed the food on the table and arranged it perfectly in some fancy shapes to attract him.
Ren had purchased something for her too and to think of it, there is no perfect time rather than this to wear it. She quickly ran to the guest bed room to get ready before he comes out. The only thing that she didn't know was that, without Lia... Noah can never stay in human world.
