Chapter 2 - 2- Understanding the situation.

The next 4 days for Arthur were hell, his head had to direct two sets of memories and personalities and it wasn't just him but the whole world was going through a subtle and slow change that would soon show change.

His father was very worried about them in the last days and several prophets appeared in the middle of the city trying to win the favor of their father who just wanted to find out why I was bad and in pain.

"It's finally over!" On the fourth day at dawn Arthur finally relaxed and his head stopped hurting, his old personality merged with the new one in formation and gave rise to a new one not unlike the old one only more mature after all was the knowledge of the old Arthur and the principles of New Arthur who allowed his mindset change.

"Young prince are you alright?" A maid who was looking after him asked seeing what expression on her face was relieved at the moment and Arthur nodded slightly at her, "Yes I'm better already Laura, you can let my dad know right away and I'll rest some more." Arthur said as he lightly recalled the name of this maid who looked surprised at the mention of her name but quickly left anyway and closed the door.

Arthur waited a few seconds as he listened to the footsteps moving away from the door before taking a deep breath and lying down on the bed again and letting his mind wander for a few minutes.

The sun shone on the room, illuminating it and the birdsong resounded throughout the castle, starting a new day, "I don't think I've ever breathed such pure air." Arthur muttered and took a long inhale before exhaling.

"Well let's get started, system open!" The moment he said a blue screen appeared in front of him.

(Starting.)

(Welcome to the system of sovereignty and invocation, beginning introduction.)

( Loading...)

Arthur stood watching the screen in front of him with a little surprise on his face as if it wasn't real but it was there, it was his system and it would help him survive whatever came to face him.

(You are in the world of Trigon, a world until recently devoid of mana and devoid of any magic and spirits or gods however this changed when the mana injection was made into the world to allow your invocations.)

"And what does that change in my life?" Arthur asked as he tapped his fingers rhythmically on his leg and thought about the possibilities and problems this could bring in his life.

(Good or bad news first?)

"I think the good one?" He muttered feeling that the system was a little weird but didn't judge yet.

(The good news is that now with your world full of mana the living beings will be able to absorb it and surpass their limits and the intelligent ones will in human language be able to use magic, that includes you!)

(The bad news is that with the infusion of mana the planet has become suitable for the habitation of divine beings of both evil and darkness and the world will become more lethal and difficult to survive with the accelerated evolution that will happen, in a way humanity would go into a state of annihilation from now on and it would probably last a few generations until you get used to mana.)

"Okay, this is problematic." Arthur muttered and started rubbing his forehead feeling a possible headache coming on and lay down on the pillow, "On a scale of 1 to 10 how big was the mana infusion and the beings that can be born in this world?" Arthur asked hoping for some good news.

(11)

"Is it serious?" He said looking at the system expecting an answer like "it was a joke!" or "Did you really believe that?" But the next message dashed his hopes.

(Correct, that statement is totally true. The host must do as much as possible to survive! End of introduction by opening home screen!)

With the words of the system Arthur saw the box that had been written just words change to a bigger and more complete picture, "Now give me good news." He said waiting for the result of the system.

Arthur read it, reread it once more and took one last look at the end to make sure he was correct before closing the screen and letting out a sigh as he formed plans in his head.

Just then his bedroom door opened and his father came running in and hugged him, "My son, are you alright?" Afonso asked while he had a desperate face on his face.

"Yes dad, I'm better already." Arthur spoke up and pushed his father away a little before looking him in the eye, "But before I talk about my health I have an important matter to talk to you about!" Arthur said looking seriously at his father who was also serious.

"I need you to crown me king!" Arthur said and a silence fell over the room with Afonso with a confused face on his face.
