Crescent didn't have a reason now that Bane was back to stay away from work. Not wanting to waste it, he decided that he'd still take the extra two days and use it to breathe and figure out what was going on.
The pack wanted answers as well. He didn't quite know how word had gotten around about Bane being back since the alpha hadn't taken anyone with him.
Aster wasn't the cause of it, he didn't even know himself until questions started coming his way. If he did, he would've come up with a plan to deal with it already.
