Her friends weren't happy to hear that Bane had come back early so they couldn't use his house the following day.
Turned out to be a major disappointment as they had really wanted the chance to see what the inside looked like.
There was nothing that she could do about that though. It wasn't like he would have been likely to agree to let them use it even if he hadn't come back early. The feeling she had gotten from the alpha made her feel as though it would have been a no even after what he had told her.
One odd thing about it however was that Diana didn't make a big deal about it. It was almost like she was ignoring it or didn't care.
In fact, it seemed like she was preoccupied with something else.
She came back to work sooner than she was supposed to, but female werewolf didn't pay much heed to Celeste or anyone else for that matter.
