Crescent had been feeling the fact that his twin was away. It wasn't the first time that Bane had been away, just the first time in a while that he hadn't gone with him. The curse of the fact that he was working hard to become a doctor.
If he didn't have to work so many hours and risk losing his position. He would have gone with Bane even if there was nothing for him to do or be involved in. It was better to be with his brother than left alone with everyone else.
He sighed as he sipped his coffee while watching the nurses bustle about. It had been a while since he had gotten swapped from the graveyard shift to the daytime one. Too bad that it had happened back to back so he wasn't able to get much sleep.
His mate was rather annoyed at him about this as well. She hadn't been able to spend a lot of time with him in the last few days and had hoped that the shift would allow that to happen. She would have to wait one more day though.
