Bane was sorely disappointed over the fact that he had to leave a voicemail and was unable to talk with Celeste.
He knew that she must have been asleep which meant that the damn dinner took longer than he had wanted for it to. People needed to stop wanting so much of his attention when he was busy trying to make plans with the rest of his schedule.
He was just going to have to try again in the morning and hope that Celeste was willing to talk with him before she had to leave for work. That was going to be the only option he had as she didn't pick up even when he rang her a second time just to be sure.
He wouldn't put it past the little human to ghost him if there was something that she didn't want to talk with him about. He might have thought that was the case if he didn't know how late in the evening it was already. Not to mention the fact that she likely hadn't slept that well from the night before.
