It was a bit annoying for the alpha that he hadn't brought anyone else along with him. If he had known something like this was going to happen, he would have shifted his plans accordingly.
No one could know though that something like this was going to come up. Bane hadn't had anyone on his side to check it because he was the one who had sent it over himself. Bradley had no reason to request a double-check on it because of previous discussions.
This kind of thing wasn't going to float so easily in the mafia world however. In the future, more care was going to need to be taken to avoid this. That would require Bane knowing who to look for though. Something he currently didn't have a direction to go in.
He would have to play it out by ear and see what he could figure out before he had to leave.
