By the time Celeste had gotten out of the shower and put her hair up, she noticed that she had missed at least six calls on her phone from the same number.
They were all from Bane's phone.
Unlocking her phone, she noticed that there were no missed texts or even a voicemail, just a number of missed calls from him. She didn't know if this was something that she should have been worried about or not.
It wasn't that late in the evening being only ten at night, it was possible that he was calling her because there was something important he needed to tell or potentially because he was still upset over what had happened earlier in the day or even about her bringing the dog in.
She didn't want to call him though to find out what he wanted, she instead was just going to text him back and wait to see if he would reply to her that way. If he didn't, she could just let it be for the night and wait to see what he said in the morning.
