Celeste didn't have to wait that long for Donovan to come and pick her up. If she wasn't concerned about the fact that she had no way to contact the other, she would have gone to her apartment to pick up what she needed while waiting for him.
He didn't know where her apartment was though and she had no way to contact him since they hadn't exchanged phone numbers thus waiting was the best option.
"I hope that you didn't have to wait out here for me for too long." Donovan told her as he pulled out to the same corner that he had dropped her off on.
"No, you're fine. I only got out of work a few minutes ago." She replied as she opened up back the passenger seat to get inside. She was thankful that it at least hadn't been too cold while she was waiting for him despite the fact that the winter weather was starting to creep in.
"Which direction is your apartment in?" He asked once he began to pull away from the sidewalk corner that he had parked out.
