Celeste was happy that Donovan let her off where she asked him to. She really didn't want anyone asking about who was dropping her off and if it had anything to do with why she had ended up coming to work late.
As she walked into the coffee shop, she felt her heart drop slightly as she realized she hadn't thought to give him her number or whether he even knew what time she would be finishing work to come and pick her up. That was something she would have to worry about later on. Right now, she needed to focus on getting to work before she got into any trouble.
"Celeste! I didn't think that you were going to be able to join us today. Everything okay with you?" Pepper was the one who asked this. She seemed rather happy to see that her friend was there.
