Getting everything together was a whole process for Divo. He wasn't thrilled about what he was doing but wasn't going to back out of it since Celeste had requested it of him herself.
She wanted to see what he was hiding, so he would sure her. He had no idea how bad her reaction to it would be. Not that it mattered that much in the long run though seeing as he would be gone for a few days regardless of what happened.
The one person who was highly displeased over what he was doing was Bane. His human half seemed to think that he was being a fool for going through with this. He kept ranting at him as he made sure all the windows had the curtains drawn in front of them and that no unnecessary lights were on.
The human even had the audacity to remind him of what Roscoe had told him about how to handle things. If Divo thought it was still possible to do things the way that the gambler had said, he wouldn't have chosen this approach either.
